Bulb Planter Tool Long Handle
The media could not be loaded. Planting bulbs no longer requires you to spend significant amounts of time squatting or kneeling. My back is spared the pain of digging holes to plant tulips, iris, daffodils, and other bulbs thanks to the tool's long handle, which also makes it simple to do so without overworking my other muscles. It offers a convenient reach that makes the planting operation much easier to accomplish. This tool's base has serrations that make it very effective for digging holes in a wide variety of soil types. Because it is both sharp and robust, using it to create ideal holes for bulbs is a fast and easy process. I've used a few other kinds of bulb planters in the past, but this one stands out from the others because of its sturdy construction and its effortless ability to break up compacted soil. Having the handle designed with a soft grip is a really intelligent innovation, as it prevents my hands from becoming tired during lengthy planting sessions. When dealing with heavy and deep soils, having a grip that is both pleasant and secure is very crucial. This is provided by the product. In addition to this benefit, there is a decreased possibility of blisters, which is a problem that often arises with other gardening equipment. Because it is not limited to planting bulbs but can also be used for planting other types of plants, it is an extremely useful tool for any gardener. The depth lines on the planter's shaft serve as a helpful reference to ensure that bulbs are planted at the appropriate depth, which is necessary for good development.

Handy Bulb Planter Takes the Strain Out of Gardening
The media could not be loaded. This bulb planter tool is a decent option for making quick work of planting bulbs and small plants. The long handle is definitely a back-saver, allowing you to dig holes from a standing position instead of bending over constantly. And the foot pedals help drive it into the soil with your body weight rather than just arm strength. On the plus side, it cuts nice clean holes and the serrated edge slices through roots or small rocks fairly well. The holes are a good size for most small bulbs and bedding plants. And the pedals generally work as designed to release the soil plug. However, there are a few downsides to keep in mind. It doesn't work that well in really dense clay or extremely dry soil - I struggled to get much depth in those conditions. The handle could use a little more padding on the grip too. After awhile, it can start digging into your palms.Overall, it's a handy tool that makes planting bulbs and small plants more efficient if you have a larger area to cover. As long as your soil isn't too compacted, it should allow you to get holes dug quickly from a comfortable standing stance. Just be prepared that you may need to put some muscle into it in tough soil conditions. An affordable option that gets the job done reasonably well.

Not for sandy soil
This is a well made, sturdy tool. It works well in firm soil, but I live near the coast in Florida. When I attempt to use it in the sandier parts of my lawn, the soil falls through. This would be a five star review if that has been mentioned in the description.

My old man loves this
Got this for him for bday. He says it's super easy to use. He likes the comfort of the handles. So it's easy for him to pick up the grass. Not heavy at all. A kid could use it. Cool design. Seems to be good quality. He wishes the amount of grass it picked up was more . But all in all he enjoys it.

Don't Follow Directions
The tool is sturdy and does cut a nice plug. However, the directions say to wet the ground you will be working. With the flower bed already somewhat wet I went ahead and started cutting plugs but found because of the wet soil, the plugs would not come out without great effort. The other problem is that the tool doesn't really dig deep enough for most bulbs--but that limitation is actually there in the tool information.

works well and save lot of money
i used to buy the sod plugging from Lowes/home depot which cost around 15$ per tray. This tool saves lot of money, now I just remove sod from different area of my yard to the dead spot. Easy to use.
