Good value set and lots of bits and pieces

So although it comes with an extra tip for the two compasses for the amount of compasses you've got you need more than one spare I've already had this a few weeks and I've already gone through two of them I'm now going to have to bin it because I don't know if I can get new nips

I bought 2 of these one was to replace a damaged one. The 2nd one arrived in bits and worse than the other. As I needed it I've kept the first one and sending 2nd back. I can't do with waiting in the hope that I get a decent one. There seems to be bits missing too. Can't send a photo. You could see the screws and wheels loose in box plus hole in the tray. Trouble is the instruments are of a decent quality. More care or some sort of quality control is needed

Just what I need for my model modern shipbuilding.

I wanted a compass that did it's purpose accurately, and could extend to draw larger circles.The fittings were extremely difficult to fit and the drawing arm did not remain rigid which would have resulted in incompletely drawn circles.

Although my partner loved his set, the delivery driver threw the package through my open door from about 18 feet away. Needless to say, the damage on the case is easy to see. I am not happy with his level of unproffessionalism.
