CTM® Leather Squeeze Coin Change Pouch

I had my first one of these leather squeeze coin pouches for around 30 years and when finally it wore out, I despaired of finding another not knowing where I'd gotten it in the first place. And darned if I was going to wear holes in my pants pocket carrying loose coins in them! I dreaded the thought of having to resort to one of those bulgy round or oval rubber squeeze coin purses with the slits across the middle that soon cracked at the edges and had to be replaced a couple times a year. And so when I found these leather squeeze coin pouches on Amazon, I was very pleased. But a little hesitant at negative reviews which said they were not up to the same quality of the ones other previous owners remembered them to have been, as well as supposedly of smaller size. Well, I went ahead and ordered and it came within just a few days. As the negative reviewers suggested it did seem to be smaller. But after a side by side comparison with my old worn out coin pouch, I realized that the difference in their widths and squeezeability was due to the leather of my new pouch had not been broken in as all things made of good leather need. And placing my new pouch on top of the old showed they were not appreciably different in size: the older one had sort of spread itself out over many years by a mere fraction of a millimeter and that the 'petals' (much like a leather water lily) of the closures on the topside had over time flattened to conform to the pants pocket that held it, as my new coin pouch has also begun to do. I think the reason for the negative reviews are the result of the many owners who like myself had owned their previous leather squeeze pouches for so darn long that they can't remember back to when they first got them, and that the majority of the time they enjoyed their old well broken in squeeze coin pouch made comparisons of the new with the old difficult to judge accurately, because they couldn't remember back that far. Which is a good thing to look ahead to for many happy years with their more recent squeeze leather pouch!

It barely holds more than 5 random sized coins. If you have a half dozen or so it will probably flop open in your pocket and you'll be pulling lose coins from your pocket at the end of the night

This coin pouch is a classic design. I got a very similar coin pouch from my grandma over 40 years ago. The design has been around for a long time because it does exactly what you need it to--hold coins in a way that comfortably fits in your pocket.

Got this for my dad he loves it he had one and it fell apart after years of using it so I got him another one

I like the size and how this coin purse works very much I carry it every day and use it all the time. Sometime it gets a little full of coins so I know I need to use a little more to lighten the load. People here and there comet on it and wonder where I got it. I think they should not be so hard to find. I have only found it here on or through Amazon. You squeeze it and it open. I am only buying another to have some spares and this time I will treat and condition the leather because if you do not the corners will start to where out and become small holes. . Also the inside has a harder leather bottom part attached to the inside of the pouch to help keep it shape. I didn't think I would like that but it is o.k. too. Great little accessory for a man or woman.will start to develop holes but I have used this for maybe 2-3 years. I originally purchased it because I was working a job at the near by international airport and the T.S. A. contractor was scanning everyone coming and going. I used to just carry change lose in the pocket so I would have to gather it and put it all in a tray to be scanner or seen. with this It is already contained I just pull it out and it is that much less I am fumbling with. I like it very much. I did have and use one that was more egg shaped and plastic but it started cracking and fell apart. Great quality. I've been using this type of coin pouch for more than 20 years because my mom used to as a teenager in the 50's. I really like them and always get compliments. The only issue is that These Just Seem to be Getting Smaller Through the Years.

The leather in the bottom of the purse is pretty stiff making the purse a little hard to open when squeezing it but that’s just part of breaking it in I assume.

This coin pouch is a useful size for fitting in a pocket and holds just the right amount of loose change. I've been looking for something like this for quite a long time. A long time ago I puchased something similar in the USA but after that was lost I could not find anything like it here in the UK.

I bought this for my husband to keep parking change in the car. We just discovered that it fits into the bottom of the drink holder in his car and it also fits easily into his pocket even when filled with £20 in £1-coins. He is delighted with it.

I bought this for my fiancé as his coins kept falling out of his pocket when getting not the car. He loves it! He calls it a coin carrier, not a purse and he uses it all the time! When he wears it out, I think I will have to buy him another one.

fast delivery. just a problem when it gets to a certain amount of coins it stops the purse from closing/holding coins in properly and they fall out in bag/pocket. Great price for leather product however.

Not as good as a similar purse made in Tasmania. 5p coins slip out as top does not meet and too many corners on base.
