OSS Weapons: Special Weapons and Devices Paperback – 21 Jun. 2012

Interesting read all, these such books on the world of operations of the great spy covert assassinations department of the American Wartime OSS. Or Office of Strategic Services which was the US forerunner to the modern day Central Intelligence Agency or CIA. Lots of good interesting information here. For anyone interested in WW2 Clandestine spy operations of US Allied forces secret army personnel.

It is an authentic straight copy, but it does not include the added information which I miss i nthis book

So cool. This is a reprint of the actual OSS 'Sears Catalog' that Wild Bill Donovan sent out to the various OSS (precursor to the CIA) offices around the world during World War II. These were devices that would used by spies and resistance agents fighting against the Axis powers. My only complaint is that they didn't include the 'explosive animal dung' appropriate to any environment, that apparently was something the station agents could order. Perhaps that was a special order item... 'Hi, could I get 200 lbs. of plastic explosives that looks like Tibetan yak poo?'

This is a reprint of an old catalog used by the OSS. Enough detail to understand what they had and what it was used for
