Jormungand: Perfect Order - Complete Season 2 [DVD]

The generic plot of the child assassin has produced some of the most interesting anime of the last decade, Jormungand adds to it two or three distinctive twists that make it more meaningful and convincing than some of its predecessors and that also contribute elements of ambiguity, mystery and sustained suspense. Some of the riddles are resolved in Season 2 but some are left to keep us hungry to see the third season released. I am I confess often bored by superhuman combat skills, whiz-bang combat scenes and spatter movie graphics but very few of the combat encounters in Jormungand lack credibility. And the portraits and back stories of the lead characters genuinely seem real, not stereotyped. It is well worth its current price.

More of what you expect from Jormungand only now Koko has stepped up her master plan to bring peace to the world. Only now she's attracted the attention of a CIA official who is keen to try and control her.It was really sad to see this come to and end but as endings go it was pretty satisfactory. It's still possible for a continuation but quality is always better than quantity.

Just love this series. There is plenty of violent action and blood shed. I recommend no one under 15 view this series. The story line is well paced and the characters are all amoral which is what one should expect of arms dealers. Good show left me wanting more.

this dvd series is one of the best I have watched and I just hope that there could be even another one to come outplease buy this dvd you will enjoy it

Basicly all i need to say about this series is that it's one of my top 5 Anime ever and i have watched alot of anime so if your thinking of trying Jormandgund please do if you like alot of shooting and fight scenes.

Marvellous serious very enjoyable. In the vein of black lagoon think if you like black lagoon you would like this or vice versa.

I got into this series a little bit ago, and the end of this season surprised me so much! Happy I got this series!

This is one of those animes that is great until the ending. That is why I give it 4 stars. I almost want to suggest not watching the last episode because it is literally terrible. All the characters are awesome and really propel the series forward but I think I would have preferred a pseudo-ending compared to this. Either way, it is fun and usually full of action, and has a unique style. Although similar to Black Lagoon, there is less action here and more reaction. In other words, instead of going in guns blazing, the atmosphere remains more tense for longer because Jormungand is more concerned with the political aspect behind arms dealing. Sometimes things don't go as planned and violence occurs, other times things get risky but never quite "hit the fan". Good show but you will not want it to end.
