Simply the Best lamp ever.
I am an ardent crafter and have been using daylight lamps for years. My good old faithful magnifying lamp gave up the ghost so I had to start shopping for another. I came across this particular lamp, which seemed a little pricey, but I thought I would give it a go. This is the best lamp ever and worth every penny, I absolutely love it. The base is quite heavy (but that is what makes it really stable). I would highly recommend this to others. Love it, love it, love it. :)

Expensive but worth it.
I was looking for a lamp that can help me see well when crocheting. This lamp is easy to position and has the added bonus of the magnifier. I also like the option of either having it as a desk lamp or floor one. It has a wonderful sturdy base also.

A must have for all crafters.
I had been searching for a craft lamp for some time and came across The Daylight Company after an online search. Any queries that I had were answered quickly so I had confidence in the product from the start. The lamp has three brightness settings and has a good weighted base. It is also very versatile and can be used as both a floor and table lamp. The magnification aspect comes with a cover changing the lamp to a reading lamp. Very good value for money.

Good but not perfect
The magnifying glass cover falls off at the slightest touch, I have had to use an elastic band to keep it on. Also the rim of light around the lamp is too bright and hurts your eyes. It should have an extended rim on the cover to shade it so the light shines on your work/book etc not in your eyes. I have improvised a fabric shade from blackout material to sort this but it should be designed in. The light itself and the magnifying glass is very good and extremely useful for my craft work.

Great for painting
This lamp makes it easy to see lightened lines and paint colors in watercolors. Would definitely recommend was

Just What I Needed
Beautifully designed! Exactly what I needed for handwork in my easy chair. I can tilt the head, bring it right down over my lap and adjust the brightness so that it does not disturb my husband in the recliner next to me. Love it!

Good magnifier and light
What I really liked about this, was that the light is adjustable.The on/off button is very conveniently placed.The magnifying glass is just right for using for EPP. I would have liked to have the glass a little bigger for reading. It is nothing you would know until you get it. It works for what I bought it for, the EPP.The arm is adjustable.
