SOLO5L 45psi Piston Pump Manual Pressure Sprayers with Spray Lance

My ancient Hozelock Killaspray Courier started to leak from the hose outlet screwed into the container. I had a correct size washer so unscrewed the outlet thingy only to find it was screwed into a non captive plate inside the tank. This dropped inside and there’s no way to hold it in place while screwing the outlet back in (unless you have 10 inch fingers!) so for the sake of a 10p washer it’s now useless. Reading reports that the new Hozelock sprayers are not as well made as they used to be I decided to buy this Solo sprayer.First impressions are it looks well made, has a longer tough lance, Viton seals and made in Germany should do the job. It works fine with no leaking and having two different spray patterns is useful. If it lasts half as long as my old one I’ll be well pleased.

So far so good. I've used it about 10 times and it performs well. Seems to be made well and of good quality. I would have given it 5x but it is a bit pricey and doesn't come assembled. Just loads of parts and poor instructions.

Good quality product that holds its pressure well and for a reasonable time which was handy as I was up a ladder spraying the car porch roof. Also had to spray out of an upstairs window to reach part of the roof and it did not leak or drip onto the carpet.

As others have said, the pump action is very effective so you don't need to pump a lot to get the spray working. The spray pattern varies depending on how much pressure has built up, so if you spray while pumping initially, you can tell when it is how you want it to be. Only issue I had was that i walked too far away from the container ( not carrying it) and the tube popped off so the pressurised liquid went everywhere. User error. So far no leakage from the spray arm so very happy. Covers a large area quickly. Only negative is that the pump/handle does not lock into carrying position quite as securely as a previous product I owned.

Had only had this for a while but the sprayer works well and the pressure spray keeps longer than my earlier pump.

Very good quality spray.Actually holds 8 litres not 5 but if you fill right up to 8 litres requires pressuring several times, if filled to just 5 litres you can get away with 1 main pressurisation with a little top up near the end to keep a good flow rate.Has a wide angle spray nozzle which I find most useful over the standard nozzle.Pumps up much much easier than my old spray bottles.Feels like a well made quality product, well well worth the extra money over the lower priced ones.

This product even though its the most expensive is probably the worst on the market, it doesn't hold pressure, the volume markings on the side of the container are barely legible, everything about it is fiddly even the thing that holds the lance is totally useless and ineffective, pumping it up to pressure is almost like a full workout and when the thing is up to pressure one would expect there would be position for the pump handle to act as a carrying handle without being extended, there's not, my recommendation would be to avoid this product like the plague and save yourselves money.

As other reviewers have said this sprayer is much better than the cheaper ones and also much better than a hoze lock sprayer I had. The seals are good quality and last. Spare seals are also available.Two criticisms :1. The pump / carrying handle does not lock into place very well when carrying the sprayer.2. It's hard to see the measurements on the side of the sprayer. I used some permanent marker but this wears off quite quickly, I may try some oil based gloss paint or similar instead.

Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas un sytème pour pouvoir accrocher la lance correctement!!! Il une encoche correct pour l'arrêt du levier à pomper.

Hallo,nutze den Sprueher um meine Raeder zu reinigen. Da der Druck bei 3 Bar sehr konstant und langanhaltend Wasser abgibt habe ich mich sehr ueber den Sprueher gefreut. Mit einmal aufpunpen schaffe ich es den groben Dreck vom Rad zu spuelen und laufe nicht Gefahr die Lager zu beschaedigen.Der Sprueher ist gut verarbeitet und hat noch dieverse Ersatzduesen die ich noch nicht genutzt habe.Fuer das reinigen von Fahrraedern ohne Akku oder Strom einfach top.
