So I’ve read many mixed reviews and I had doubt before purchasing, but I did because I wanted to use hot spot and other options with good review were more expensive.Anyway, i am happy I did.It worked perfect from London.The only thing you need to remember is to activate 24 hrs ahead, and if you activating it last minute, just send a message to ask load your package. I did send an email because I forgot to activate it ahead of time, and someone took care of it in 10 minutes and I have the line ready to use with the package I purchased.I think some of the reviewer that complained, did last minute activation like me and then when they got to the destination they had pay as you go package rather than the package they purchased.

I had bought this for our trip to Europe thinking this would be a lot more cost-effective to use than AT&T's international day pass @ $10 a day for the 1st line, and another $5 for each additional line. After receiving it, I followed the included instructions to set up the sim to be activated on our arrival date. I have an unlocked iphone with an esim for AT&T. So before I got onto the plane, I inserted this sim to the sim card slot and assigned it as my default voice and data line, and made my esim as the secondary as a backup plan. After our plane landed in Heathrow, I switched on my phone, and bingo, it got connected right away. During the trip that lasted a bit over 2 weeks and covered the UK, Portugal, and Spain, my phone almost always had reliable data connection when wifi was not an option, and my wife's phone could hook up to my hotspot whenever she needed to get online. We just came back yesterday from the trip, I have to say this SIM card worked flawlessly and it way exceeded my expectations.

Card worked for data initially. Then stopped working until reset. Worked for a few minutes and stopped again. Phone and text are not working. I cleared network settings and made sure it was setup like instructions. I sent a message to support but did not receive any help within a hour.Update: I received support overnight which got the card working.

Installation and activation was a straightforward process. Follow the instructions exactly, then restart your phone. It operates on the Three Network (a UK based provider), and I received a free £10 cash credit on activation. However, this credit expired after 24 hours. I assume Three offers this freebie to allow users to contact loved ones outside the UK/Europe on arrival at their destination. So, I suggest delaying activation until the just before travel to make the most of your free credit.

I knew I needed a sim card for the UK and Amsterdam and I purchased this one. I did not install it until I got to the UK and had to get help to remove my cell phone cover. With the sim card installed, I turned on the phone and within a couple of seconds I got a message, "Your new number." Then the screen went empty and I could never get the site back to look at the number which apparently was somewhere else. Just a useless waste of money. When I tried to reach customer service, nobody ever responded. Amazon, please remove this vendor from your site so other people aren't fooled by this product.

I arrived in the UK and used the SIM to telephone my taxi, then sent a text message to my granddaughter, she has a UK phone number. The next day I sent a couple more text messages to friends in the UK. On day three I tried to telephone my granddaughter (UK number) but received a message that there wasn't enough time left on the card to make the call. So, I paid $30 for two days of use.

Purchased the card to use in Rome and Greece while cruising. Instructions stated not for texting and calling USA. Had some trouble to get it connected and finally got that resolved. We were not able to use it as we were hoping we could WhatsApp family in the USA. All we received from maker were emails about purchasing additional GB which we were not interested in as sim card did not work at all. Money not well spent.

I got to Sweden and the internet worked for a bit, then didn't. 8 hours later the phone started working then didn't. A day later it completely stopped working. Made my travel very difficult, I highly recommend not getting this card.

I purchased the 30GB card with a Spain number. When I read the details of this sim card after receiving it, I was surprised to learn Text is not included despite the product description says "Unlimited Calls and SMS". It is my understanding that SMS = TEXT. It's not a deal breaker for me but just thought whoever is considering this sim be aware of this. Maybe update the product description?

We started our European journey September 11 to 29. Using this sim as our Map GPS through country side of Ireland and Scotland i would say its a flawless reception! There are couple of times that i lost my signal but after few several meters of movements sim signal comes back strongly. I think it was normal because we where in the mountains and remote areas. For 20gigs of Data plus 10gigs as bonus total of 30gigs we are well enough of data during our journey considering all my 2 passensers are tethered from me and they are always in streaming Youtube and of course on their social media for photos uploading lol. It covered of 100minutes of call all Ireland and Scotland, that was awesome! And also, unlimited calls of Apps such as Viber, Whatsup, Messenger and such. Reception was very decent at 25mbps as i measured in Speedtest most of the times. Activation was just walk in the park, insert it, will text you right away your number and use it as your regular sim. By the way this sim is based on Spain so you will get spanish, "habla español?" Lol. I would strongly recommend this sim for your future European trip. Bought this for a trip to the UK to conduct business and see family and friends. Hugely disappointed to find out that it was a Spanish telephone number which made making calls from my mobile contact list more difficult and time consuming as I had to re-type them in when wanting to call someone with the +34 prefix. Plus none of my contacts were picking up my calls as they were suspicious of receiving a call from a Spanish number and they couldn't call me back on the number as they didn't have EU calling. All very irritating. Furthermore I couldn't find what the telephone number was until the service was activated from first day of use so I couldn't pre notify anyone of the number I would be using while away. Oh and every time the phone was switched off I had to enter a PIN that I then had to search for each time. Overall wish I hadn't bought it - next time I'll just buy a SIM card from the destination airport from the various machines available and at a cheaper price too!

At first, when the sim was inserted upon arrival in Barcelona, my phone indicated I had service, it appeared to have a very small amount of data as Google maps, which I needed, was working,. A short time later (about an hour), all my apps that required data stopped working. The phone showed I still was connected to the carrier (movistar) but it seemed as if the 12G data pack was not added. Emails to Sim Corner (when I reached the hotel and used wi-fi) were a challenge.Not sure what changed but the next day, the phone appeared to have data applied and the phone has worked well since. The remaining issue is I cannot check my data usage as I am unable to log into my Three Mobile account. It consistently says they are having "system trouble -try again later".Next trip I will be looking for a solution with less hassle.

We used this product for one day in London while travelling and the very next day both of us had “No service”. We spoke to a service provider in London and they told us this company is the equivalent to Freedom Mobile in Canada ie. service is cheap but spotty. Surprised it didn’t work in London. I would just stick to picking up your SIM card on arrival in town id you can.
