Best phone I've ever owned. So underrated!
Have had this phone for 5 months and can honestly say it's the most complete phone I've ever wanted. First thing is it feels and looks very well made and has an understated, stealthy look about it. The screen is superb, browsing and using apps are super quick which has been commented on by friends with iPhones. I've since buying it been updated to Android Nougat which HTC have not meddled with very much with basically no bloatware on the phone. The audio whilst using headphones is excellent too although the speakers are not the very best. The camera is allegedly not on a par with the Samsung S7 or iPhone 7 but I honestly have to say I've been very happy with it, particularly with HDR enabled. I wasn't totally sure that I needed to upgrade my M8 to this but so glad I did.

Solid, fast phone with excellent audio
Cracking phone. Fast and responsive. Sound quality is great and the HTC earphones supplied in the box offer good sound quality too. The phone also drives my Grado over the ear headphones well. If you want a phone that offers good audio then this is great. HTC have a really good reputation for sound quality. The screen is great and very little overly to the stock android experience which is nice. Phone feels really solid and well built. I have had it since the start of 2017 and not noticed any deterioration in speed. Battery life is also excellent and it comes with a quick charger so charges really fast.

Gorgeous looking phone with Android 7 installed.
Wow.....what a great looking phone, nice weight and thickness, yes its thicker than many phones around but I feel al lot safer with this phone, in that it wont crack so easily in the pocket. My phone came with Android 7 already installed (bought from Digitalout in Italy 3rd sept 17) and ready to install latest security update from July.Slightly curved edges give it a great aesthetic look, couple with the metal body and line inserts top and bottom give this phone a unique look albeit similar to Iphone and Samsung models. One thing I dont like is the raised edge of the lens surround, it sits proud of the case and I think will lead to damage early on when laid on any surface. I've bought a Torro case, the leather is thick and it protects this lens so I am happy now, but the original design is flawed in this respect so Ive dropped a star for this.Android 7 and Sense 6 and great partners and leave a lot of parameters that can be tweaked, more so than any previous releases. The phone I have hasnt suffered from pink screen so I think HTC may have solved that even though it went away after a few days use.I'm not a great user of phones to listen to music, normally have a Bluetooth speaker somewhere, but the phones speakers are OK, even with boomsound they will never replicate a decent setup with such small speakers in a phone, dont be fooled into believing the hype. Can't tell you what the sound is like on headphones or buds as I use a hearing aid in one ear but presumable will be better. Headphone socket is at top of phone, normal place but somehow feels dated there, I've always like both charger and headphone at bottom of phone and when seperated like this makes the phone feel a bit clunky, not that I'll be using it that much anyway. There is no Q/Wireless charging (it does have NFC) and since the backcover is solid, there will be no 3rd party add ons to allow this, not that I'm complaining, previous phone was LG G4 and many wireless chargers were picky about phone orientation before allowing the charge, (but since that phone bricked itself with the ever bootlooping fault and LG would not repair out of warranty, with this phone Ive not missed that)The camera is surprisingly good considering its only 12Meg (ultrapixs) and the zoom level doesnt pixelate as much as I thought it would, the HDR mode is even better and there are the usual tricks, Panaoramic, Zoe camera (3 secs video picture used to compile Zoe snaps) if you go into pro mode, there are more options, slow mo, hyperlapse and even more settings for both video and picture taking. Video can be recorded in 4K but you need a decent sized MicroSD card pref an XC1 or better to record to. Im very impressed with the camera's features and the quality, both essential in a phone camera for me. Have not tried the Selfie modes different settings too much yet but they have good clarity and resolution so far. Low light I am yet to experience and there have been stories of overexposure unless in Pro mode, but now in Android 7 will have to see if thats still true. There are a number of after effects one can use on a picture from storage, contrast, brightness, cropping B/W etc, so its possible to cure this anomoly if still present. The charger socket is USB C so is not compatible with USB micro or nano cables, meaning you will need to buy some extra for in car, work and other situations. USB C is reversible so the socket will last a bit longer and its a tight fit to begin with, only prolonged use will show any faults here. The screen is edge curved so utilises the Corning Gorilla glass 3 tech and feels good for tactile feedback, the phone has a nice buzz/twang to it when touched, might annoy some people but I like it, this can be turned off in settings. The volume button and power button are placed just right, so when taking landscape pics, they're not in the way or for portraits either. The power button has raised ridges so its easy to differentiate when just feeling for them. The battery is 3000mAh and at the moment really does last over 24hrs, even with a few phone calls and listening to some music, sending a few texts and about an hour on the internet. Went down to 28% the following morning which was impressive but phone is quite new so will have to see how this pans out in the next few months of use. I'm not a heavy user by any standards but compared with other phones I've had it does seem better. All in all, I like this phone a lot, I had an HTC One M7 a few years ago, and I think HTC have got it right again with this latest incarnation, in fact this phone is everything the M8 should have been just a few years late, I'm just sorry the LG G4 I got in between has ended up such a disppointment, it was actually quite a good phone and would still be using it now if it hadn't bricked on me.

Excellent Underrated Phone
Bought this phone as I have always loved the HTC franchise but was disappointed with the M9, as it wasn't much of an upgrade from the M8. However HTC 10 is a dream phone and really does everything I've always wanted in a phone. From the highly impressive camera to the great look and feel of the device, HTC have really outside themselves. I've had the phone for 6 months now and have never had an issue with it.In fact, there's a comparison video with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and aside from having a less swanky screen, HTC 10 actually ran just as fast as it, showing that even a year before the S8, the 10 really did shine. Highly recommended!

Classic megacorp!
HTC are now on my list just like Samsung are. Who gives a toss about the consumer; we're going to bake-in Facebook (and other crapware) to the phone so you can't remove it.Also this stupid, stupid phone has a "HTC Outlook Sync" calendar on it that, again, can't be removed which means it acts as your DEFAULT calendar. Absolutely crazy! So many things wrong with this phone when you actually come to use it. HTC need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Excellent when it was new
Always been a big fan of htc since HTC desire hd always preferred HTC to Samsung.I bought these device after being slightly disappointed with HTC one x which it was good device but the camera was a let down, htc 8x which was windows phone broke down HTC refused to replace.and than the HTC one (m7) beautiful device the camera not so great but it broke down after 13 months. Now the HTC 10 excellent device it lived up all hype and good reviews it had.Super fast, the camera was great the sound quality best on any mobile device finger print workedevery time.So was happy until now October 2017 14 months after I bought it.The phone has slowed down it's extremely laggy,it doesn't hold the mobile network connection sometimes for hours. Now is this do with the software update or HTC poor quality control I don't know. What I know is the phone is becoming unusable. And that's disappointing for 500+£ device.

Good but not that great.
I've got this phone since one year and half now. The sound is amazing, pictures are great as well (when you know how to use properly the camera). The screen is ok not crazy but it's all right. The main problem is the battery. I have to charge my phone at least two or three times a day. At this price I wasn't expecting that.
