Kitchen Drain Unblocker | Clears Blocked Sinks | 1L

Used this on sink and utility as part of clogged waste. I didn't use it upstairs, but did two downstairs sinks (whasing machine and dishwasher also share same waste pipe). I celaned out dishwasher and washing machine, ran cleaning tablets on both on hottest wash and rain taps in sinks for a minute each on hot tap to help unclog drain. Added to both sinks and left for 9 hours over night, as per instructions. Then flushed the sinks with hot tap and ran the dishwasher and washing machine through a second short cycle was empty. WOW, flused the partial blockage and I know it worked because the bath upstairs and sink upstairs I didn't treat and the pugged emptied supar fast. Veru effective, yes removed cat fut that got stuck in food bowls. Easy to use, I used one bottle for a partial blockage of grease and food. I think this is great for a maintenance flush.

Easy to use with clear instructions. Unfortunately, isn't much good at clearing up clogged up drain. Sink wasn't fully blocked, as water still used to drain out albeit slowly. Used this as per instructions and left it overnight. Following morning flushed it out, and no improvement. Thought it might need another attempt, so did the same again. Again the following morning, still no change. Finally unblocked the sink using (the good old method) a plunger. Product might be OK to keep the drain clear using it on a regular basis, but definitely not to unblock the sink. Shame, as a lot of time and effort has gone into the design of the product and bottle.

Works a treat and very good value

I bought the HG cleaner as my drain cleaner of choice, Scotch Corporation Heavy Duty Liquid Drain Opener, is no longer available from Amazon. Emptied large sink bowl of very hot water down the sink twice, poured 3 litres of HG down kitchen sink and left it overnight to clean pipework. End result was not an effective clean, stripped the trap out the following morning and it still smelled.

Excellent product

As with some other 1 star reviews this product didn’t do anything to clear the blockage. I’d decided I was going to need to remove the complete unit to access the pipes. However, while shopping for other items in Dumelm I noticed their product which came in two types, kitchen or bathroom. Having nothing to loose I purchased the bathroom variety and applied it. Left overnight and in the morning all clear. The Dunelm product was 25% of the price of HG, did the job where HG failed. Learned a lesson, believe the other reviews and look elsewhere in future.

Eine Chemikalie, die nur vom Fachmann angewendet werden sollte. Wegen der Gefährlichkeit (auch bei der Anwendung) ist eine Beschreibung auf Deutsch unerlässlich. Dies könnte auch durch einen Beipackzettel gewährleistet werden.

Non ha prodotto alcun risultato e tra l'altro aveva il sigillo di garanzia aperto.

a me non ha fato proprio nulla. lho risolto col acido. non tolgo che potrebbe funzionare in casi meno gravi, con lievi ingorghi. ma se hai il lavandino bloccato, niente da fare.
