These valves were exactly what I needed to be able to inflate my tubes with my battery-powered inflator. They make life a whole lot easier! Just wish I had found them sooner!

Works great but takes forever to inflate an air mattress.
If you try hard enough you can even cram these into an air mattress that doesn't have a check valve like I had to do last weekend...It held all night, great seal.Keep in mind that using an air compressor to pump these things up takes forever, you ideally want a low pressure high volume pump, like a dedicated air mattress pump with fan, rather than a high pressure low volume pump which is what most tire air compressors are that have this attachment.If you have a giant shop compressor it'll still take 5 minutes to inflate.

Good price point, but no retainers/lanyards are attached
The valves work reasonably well and the red color makes them easy to identify. However, the valves do not come with retaining rings (lanyards) which means it is pretty easy to drop them and lose them when taking them out. I am surprised by the lack of retainers which I have seen on all other Boston valves. Considering these are marketed for use with towed water toys (tubes, etc), the lack of a retainer is actually a problem. I bought these because I dropped the old one overboard and now I'm pretty certain these will eventually suffer the same fate.

Fits my airhead towable tube perfect!
I read this was for airhead towable tubes. Of course this peaked my interest. 5-6 bucks to fix my tube I can’t find the valve for? Yes please! I’ve attached some pictures. Yes it holds air! Thanks so much for saving us from having to toss our airhead! There’s two reds. They’re each different sizes. The green one is to use for like at a gas station, you fill it up there with the air machine there. Personally say buy a plug in pump, one of the cars. Aloha!
