TFA stopwatch, Chrome-plated metal, L 50 x B 16 x H 64 mm

I need to time short intervals so I wanted a good quality stopwatch that had a 30s full dial. It also had to be reasonably priced and not made in China. That is not an easy thing to find, so even though I am in the US I bought this stopwatch through amazon.co.uk.The watch itself has a solid feel and the crown moves positively without the crunchy feeling that inexpensive stopwatches usually have. I have not used it much yet, maybe 40-50 times, so I can't comment definitively on longevity, but it feels well made and TFA Dostman has a good reputation. There are more expensive stopwatches available, but if you only need the features that this watch provides, this is a good choice.

Bought this as I have binned several digital stopwatches ,which seem to have the same common problem with double bounce switch issues (start then stop without timing your event!). This unit doesn't require batteries , start and stop work positively and is a pleasure to use.

Our original stop-watch eventually stopped after 40years and I did not expect to be able to purchase another analogue watch at a reasonable price, but this one is perfect. My very elderly husband can now time his short balancing exercises accurately which gives him more incentive to increase his times. Great watch - our grandson loves using it too.

This stopwatch has stopped working after less than a year - I now need to find the guarantee and return it to the manufacturer.

My first impression was that the stopwatch was too heavy and thick, yet I quickly realised that I actually like it about it. It is solid and well made. A beautiful item and it works well.

A very well made mechanical stopwatch. It is hard to find mechanical stopwatches at reasonable prices but this one is a good price and well worth the money.It has a good weight to it and is very accurate.

A really good stopwatch and for the money you really cannot go wrong. My only very small criticism, I struggle sometimes to see the tenths of a second. I think it would be a massive benefit if it was just slightly bigger. Apart from this the stop watch is really good and I would recommend.
