Does the keyswitch just turn off the led screen or does it also turn off power to the motor as well?

It also turns power off to the motor

Can the ends of the throttle handle be cut off, and still be usable? I need to mount it further in on the handle bars, and not on the ends

My husband said he does not recommend you cut it.

Do you need a controller or can you wire this direct to the motor?

Yes you do need a controller. Most are really easy to hook up too.

What diameter handlebars is it made to fit?

looks to be 22mm and it uses a set screw (grub screw)

Bonne qualite
