Wizards of the Coast 14986 MTG-AKH-DBT-EN "Amonkhet" Deck Builder's Tool Kit

I was not expecting as few cards as I received for the price, but for a beginner it isn't too bad, there are 4 wrapped packets of cards, one had definitely been opened prior to delivery.

Bought this as a way of returning to Magic after a 20-year hiatus and being able to play some casual games with friends.In the box you get a load of mixed lands, a load of classic common cards, some generic rares and a few other bits and bobs.There's easily enough cards in the box to make a couple of ordinary decks that will never win a GP but will give you the full flavour of MTG. You get 4 booster packs also, and I got 2 mythics which 'paid' for half the box anyway, so there's always a chance the box won't cost you anything if you make a good pull.What's slightly confusing (and this isn't really anyone's fault) but the cards aren't exclusively from Amonkhet if that's a collection you were focussing on. 2 of the boosters are Amonkhet, but 2 are from Kaladesh, also the mixed cards are from half a dozen different expansions. Best to think of the branding as Amonkhet and the cards inside as a random assortment.

This is a brilliant item for those starting out as you can build a deck based on the cards you have also the 4 booster packs you get with it are all different sets with one being the same as the deck builder tool kit Amonkhet. If you have not played before and wish to learn then this is one of the best options for you.

Great value but 2 damaged cards received in the pack. Looks like they caught or been cut during packing. Rest of pack was great, already had opened the booster so not in a returnable condition now
