Eco ElementCMIBJCK003928 EcoElement 2nd Gen Water Filter, Chrome

I bought this primarily to reduce the limescale on the glass shower door. I live in a hard water area and I'm quite complacent regarding cleaning the shower door, but that doesn't mean I like the way it gets. I do have a handheld squeegee, which I use every so often, but that's not enough, or every so often isn't often enough. And once maybe every 2 or 3 months I use Cilit Bang to clean it. Anyway, I'm hoping this reduces the requirement for even that slack regularity. It was easy to fit. Certainly the screw threads are compatible, and combined with the included vinyl tape and rubber washer, it's watertight and robust. There's no noticeable reduction in water pressure, just maybe a millisecond of delay when the water is first turned on. It's not too bulky in my application, but it might be if your hardware is tighter to the wall.And I payed attention in physics, so I was even expecting this, except I was still surprised by the extra frothiness of my soapy appurtenances.It's still yet to be seen how effective it is as a limescale deterrent, but it must be doing something. You know what? I like it! There. I said it.So far, so good, so frothy.(and you get a refill in the pack! Whoop!)

Seems to work fine - really easy to fit and great that it comes with a spare filter. Looks a little odd and bulky just below shower head, but I don't really mind.

This Eco shower filter is an absolute lifesaver.I live in an area with very 'hard' water and this shower filter has solved the problem. The shower feels amazing; its makes you feel pure and fresh. It maintains the water pressure unlike other filters that I have had where the water eventually just becomes a slow trickle. My hair and my skin quality have improved significantly, hence i bought another two for my parents and grandmother.Packaging of product was informative and concise. There was a small pamphlet within the box that had step-by-step installation instructions which was handy. There was also a roll of 'PTFE tape' or 'plumbers tape' provided. PTFE tape lubricates the threads, which allows the filter and shower connections to be more easily screwed together, which is what creates the seal.This is definitely the best filter that I have found so far, both value, size and in efficiency.All in all, a fantastic product, excellent customer care with a personal touch and very quick delivery. I would recommend this product to everyone. Definitely a 10/10 for this shower filter. Can't fault it.

Chose this brand as it was slightly slimmer than others and does not get in the way of the bath spout. Bought one for both bathrooms. Unfortunately the one attached to the Ghone bath shower mixer is affecting the water pressure so much that the water is barely coming out. I tried swapping over the filter and the units and but made no difference. I shall contact the manufacturer for their comment on the reduction in pressure and will return one unit. I see they also sell a high pressure shower head with built-in filter which may be a better option for mixer tap showers. The one attached to the standard shower is working fine, great results on skin and hair.

I bought this item after checking other 5 star reviews, and in particular because someone mentioned hard water was effecting the performance of silver shampoo. I have naturally white hair, but recently I have seen yellow appear at the ends which I had not seen a few years ago. I do wash my hair daily and suspect the hard water was a contributing factor. So I thought I would give it a go. It arrived earlier than I anticipated, especially as I purchased just before Christmas. It was well packaged and everything was intact. Within 5 minutes of opening I had attached to the shower unit. Very straight forward. It says the filter lasts for 60,000 liters before it needs replacing. It comes with a replacement. I don't think it will reverse the damage the hard water has done to my hair so far, but I am hoping that it will prevent further yellowing and that the removal of the crud will allow the variety of hair products to become effective once more. I have noticed that my scalp feels a lot calmer and the filter maybe responsible because I haven't changed anything else in my daily routine.

Horrendous product.1. The product will stop your shower power down to about a quarter.2. The bottom of a shower is close to the wall so it won’t fit.3. The shower end won’t sit in the holder if you attack it to that end. I persevered and went to the plumbers merchants and bought more connections. After connecting it with the extra connectors the water comes out because it back up so much. Clearly the people who designed this product didn’t test it with a shower or water. By the way I am a plumber so that’s a real review. They’re taking ages to get back to me so I’m sure they will respond like most do after a bad review.

simple et rapide à monter, efficace. Peau plus douce , cheveux moins rêches , plus besoin d'après shampoing (j'ai les cheveux très longs). Moins de soucis avec les peaux sensibles (psoriasis ou eczémateuse...)Acheté aussi dans le but de ne pas avoir de traces de calcaire sur les parois vitrées de la douche , je suis dans une région à eau très dure et le détartrant est à l'usage journalier pour le ménage :(A voir si l'efficacité est à long terme ou fugace, çà ne fait que 1 semaine que le filtre est monté

Fantástico se nota como descalifica el agua . Lo compré porque me picaba mucho la piel después de ducharme, y con su uso se solucionó el problema y lo he notado en la piel. Lo recomiendo

Placé sur le pommeau de douche il y a deux jours, très fonctionel, facile à installer, peu d'effet pour le moment Mais notre eau est très calcaire.

A los dos o tres dias de usarlo mi pelo no necesita suavizante y no cae como antes.
