Q: Could this be used on suede slippers? Trying to fix a 1" hole between the suede and rubber on my slippers.

Yes, the Shoe Goo "shoe repair", black or clear will do this repair good. Take care to spread it onto the suede and spread it onto the rubber, both with thick layers, and push them together. Let it dry for 24 hours. I do not recommend the "new version" that is advertised for 8.99 plus 29.99 shipping. In my opinion the clear 3.7 oz version on Amazon for $5.99 with free shipping in an Amazon order over $25 will work just as good, and the black 3.7 oz regular version for $9.43 including free shipping will work just as good.

Q: Does it work for fabric?

I don’t believe it would work. It is meant for soles of shoes and dries rock hard. I would not recommend it.
