Wondered why Hansgrohe is expensive
Unlike other 1.8 GPM water-saving shower heads, this Hansgrohe’s water pressure is even and the water output is large. Water spray nicely to my skin, so now I know why Hansgrohe is expensive. Installation is super easy. Other reviews have mentioned the hose, I left the shower head and hose hanging down naturally, and after the third day the hose didn't kink.I concerned about bad reviews, so I bought a used one from Amazon Resale, so glad I did.

Solid replacement for prior model
Good price and super easy install to replace the prior model. Lighter casing with more plastic, but great fit on base and the mounting matched the old, so the new one was not even needed.

Nice, full, and relaxing.
The media could not be loaded. The fittings are high quality (metal in places). It installed easily by hand tightening and was leak-free. The water pressure is good, but not high-pressure / intense. There’s a rain like / pelleting quality to the streams. It’s quite nice and fairly broad for a 4” shower head.I got this as a test of the brand before spending 3-4x on the high end models and I’m not in a hurry to upgrade beyond this. It’s ideal for a guest / kids room, but I’m also happy with it every morning.

After few months of use the hose came off
Poor quality of the hose, it has come off after less than one year of use. Otherwise it does seem like a product for a good value. I got replacement hose for $70, which is quite pricey considering it can break after less than 12 months of use.

Great for converting a standard wall shower head to a handheld one.

Defective parts
Ordered two of these. One of them had a defective ball bearing so that the piece that holds the shower head won't swivel. Ordered a replacement, and the replacement had the same issue (ball bearing appeared permanently glued, preventing any swiveling). Finally gave up. Returned and won't be replacing. Bad quality control.

The shower head is great, but…
Considering it is not outrageously expensive but Irvin’s not cheap, the shower head is just fine but the cord is horribly inflexible and sticks out into the shower.

Very flexible and has made bath time for me AND my dog so much easier
I REALLY like the flexibility of this shower head. My old one was short and inflexible, and this shower piece allows for easier bath times with my dog. I can simply shampoo her and easily rinse the soap away by just turning down the water pressure if it's too high and holding it up against her (I used to have to fill up a large cup or other container repeatedly and pour the water all over her lol).The holster for the shower allows it to stay in place securely without the hose tangling. I would recommend this product.
