Brookite Ground Stake / Spike for Telescopic Pole

It's a pole. Holds the flagpole in place. I agree with other reviews that it could do with the diameter being a bit bigger and after testing it in back garden, the spike end split. Hence 4 stars.

Great stake for a pole. Slimmer than my previous one but then not so heavy however the size makes it easier to get into the ground and lighter to carry.

does the job, however really disappointed with the pole which fits into it. basically you need a really small flag otherwise it cant handle the weight.

Camped in a field at Woodlands Campsite and flag pole wouldn’t have stayed out without it. Robust and easy to drive into the ground

Stronger than I imagined and easy to get into the ground. Certainly works well with my telescopic flag pole

I purchase 2 one is still intact, the other did break off at the top.

Use a rubber mallet or a wooden block to protect the stake from damage.Worth using a metal spike to form a pilot hole on firmer ground.

It does what is needed, but if only it was a bit thicker the flag pole would fit more tightly over it and thus not wobble so much in the wind. That said, the flag pole stays up and the spike slips into the ground easily enough.
