Used for holding gym rings as a bar to hold gym rings was too expensive. I screwed the bolts directly into wood so didn't use the expanding bolts. I do wish I had checked the size of the screws first as I didn't have a hex nut for my socket wrench of the right size and would have bought one. Without it I had to work pretty hard to install these in the ceiling for gym rings. The only con is that the screws and expanding bolts are a little cheap, there wasn't a whole lot of thread on the screws but they are holding fast. Recommended.

Definitely up to the task.....fitted them to the beams in the barn and use suspension straps on them.Easy to fix into wood and they come with the necessary fixings for use in brick too.Quality product - highly recommend.

The product is excellent (really strong and well finished/coated) but I had not appreciated the thickness of the ring/bar attachment is such that not all resistance band metal snaphooks fit around it. Just for awareness. Will just have to buy another snaphook to join my bands to the thicker wall mount

I would never use these with exercise bands because if they came off the wall they could be fatal.

These are serious heavyweight anchor points. You get a choice of expanding or self tapping bolts. We use them for a range of expanding bands and they work a treat.
