We have quite a few solar lights of different types.These are so much better than anything else we have except for some very large and bright glass crackle lights (we consider that the small glass crackle lights are very dim and poor).They are very bright and work very well. Very bright ..... as if they were Xmas tree lights and certainly the brightest that we have. It's all down to the plastic leaves distributing the light - looks cheap'ish but very effective. Have a look at your internet router and you will see a plastic strip lit up usually with a single LED. This works on the same principle.They can be fanned out and look great on the fence.All I can recommend, which a lot of people would shout me down for, is to cover the sensor with some cling film to keep the insects and water out as this will really prolong the life and serviceability. If you find that they stop working, remove the 4 screws on the solar panel and give the battery and contacts a scrub with a nail file. While you have it out, put it in a proper battery charger for a couple of hours as this will help to recondition the battery too.

This is the second lot of these lights I have bought - the last lot was 3 yrs ago, and they have only just given up!Nice bright colours.One or two of the little plastic leaves were broken, but no big issue - you can't really notice .Overall very pleased and would buy again.

These have been bought as a Christmas present so I can't comment to their efficacy just yet, however the quick once over I gave them when they arrived impressed me a bit. The branches can be bent to how you want them and the colours were nice and bright and lit up my kitchen quite well. They'll make a great addition to any garden/pathway.They come with ground stakes for ease of positioning and a solar panel. I didn't have any issues with stickers on the individual branches, there weren't any :)

These were purchaded as a gift and are regularly spoken about in conversations . They are very bright, and strong bold colours, better than expected. We will be purchasing another set for our own fairy garden! Certainly a recommended buy if you would like a little colour in your garden!

I specifically wanted to leave a review for this item. The lights are fantastic when it goes dark. When I opened the package, there were 3 of the acrylic leaves missing. I got in touch with Amazon who informed the seller who very kindly sent me some extras in the post. I'm quite tempted to buy another set!!

I absolutely love these I’ve used in a diferant way made a tall tree from them I think thay look stunning my nabours love them. If you make a tree of them then I would like you to give me one free for ideas ha ha order more . Thay stay on until at least four am . Just love love them. Mandy selby

One set not working, the switches are hard to work and if pushed too hard they just break as one set did so they went in the bin, the other three sets work but two of them I cant get to stop flashing because of the flimsy nature of the switches. The colours are very bright but the constant flashing is very annoying, would have preferred something softer and not so in your face..... all in all very cheap and nasty, but didn't pay a cheap and nasty price for them..... feel disappointed and annoyed every time I look at these horrid things, have them hidden around the back of the garage..... but they do illuminate my fishpond well....... hate them.

Beautiful lights when they work properly and for the price, I would buy them again.However, the solar panel "on/off/flash" switch is very cheap and badly made. The switch is a flick up or down switch and easily breaks and/or pushes inside the solar panel box. I have had to throw one set of lights out because of this and I'm not particularly heavy handed.Also, I purchased two boxes of these lights and the first box did not have enough leaf covers for the bulbs. They fall off very easily, despite initially being glued on.It would be good if the manufacturer could re-look at this and make the switch and solar panel box sturdier and address the leaf issue. Other than that, I give them three stars, because they really do look lovely, bright and colourful when they work.
