Adam Hall Rack Stand 12 U

Very sturdy and solidly built - Easy to put together. Comes complete with 20 screws/washers for mounting equipment which should be enough - standard cage nuts do not fit this product. The cheapest rack on Amazon at the time of purchase (Mar 2012). Would highly recommend as a cheap desktop alternative to a cabinet.I have fitted a NEWLink 2U 48 Port CAT6 Patch Panel, a Cable Management Tidy Bar for Cabinets and two 1U switches - There's still ample space left for future expansion. Note that the very bottom mounting space is not very useful for deeper equipment such as a switch due to the backwards sloping angle of the rack.

Very sturdy but the backwards lean is a bit much rendering the bottom two slots useless for most gear.It also only came with 2 washers so I had to source these separately.

Purchased to accommodate a couple of extra items in my home recording setup I was expecting something less in quality than what I paid for, but to my surprise this well balanced little beast can handle the heaviest of my rack gear. The bottom line is that this is not my first small rack purchase and compared to slightly less expensive small racks available on sites such as eBay I found this to be well worth the little extra and I'm sure will still be in use by someone well after I am long gone.

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that i find the rack leans back a bit steeply so making the bottom area limited in depth for some equipment, just remember this when you order, the screws actually screw into the metal, its threaded unlike a lot of other rack's, it is not supplied with plastic or rubber washers to stop your gear getting rack rash, but is supplied with the screws, it is strong and made of good quality metal, i have it set up with my Yamaha RS7000 at the bottom and the rack fits perfectly over it with my rack gear above, just in case someone else is considering a setup like this, obviously you cannot use the bottom few sections of the rack, this makes a very compact setup if you are using a few rack items along with your RS7000, i took the chance of ordering the rack without knowing if it would allow me to fit the rs7000 in between the rack legs, i did measure it to compare with the described measurements of the add but thought that the rubber feet would probably interfere with it fitting, anyway it is well worth the low price and was ideal for the situation i needed it for, as i've not got a lot of space to set my gear up in, recommended.

Arrived with screws missing to assemble the supporting bar on the base. Have had to return for replacement. Doesn't look like it could take more than 6 devices

I bought this in order to tidy up a couple of rack-mountable components I had lying on work surfaces in my home office / studio, not having the space or budget for proper cabinet.The stand is far sturdier than I expected, is supplied with 24 (I think) bolts, and as far as I've been able to tell the cheapest solution out there. Assemblt took about a minute and it was ready to go, materials used seem solid. A great solution.

I bought this rack to use with Cisco networking equipment.So far there are 6 pieces in the rack and although it is not the most perfect fit for that kit nor does the rack have the perfect balance for the price paid it is an outstanding bit of kit and I would recommend it to anyone looking to set up a home lab.

1st delivery- wrong thread on the base making it impossible to assemble with the supplied screws (2 x different threads each end!!). Arrived in a box with an open bag and screws scattered everywhere. Had a hard-drive from Amazon fail today too (Seagate 2TB External- see http://www.amazon.co.uk/tag/click%20of%20death/products). Not happy. *updated: 2nd delivery- the replacement was of a good standard & Amazon processed everything quickly. ***** for Amazon.

Un stand 19" tout à fait pratique. Coûte beaucoup moins cher que de vouloir à tout prix tout monter dans un rack Eurorack. Reste à trouver les "oreilles" pour les synthés non fournis avec. Le System 1m Roland a des oreilles fournies, mais pour le Model D ou le Neutron Behringer il faut acheter des oreilles, parfois assez cher... Donc à voir selon ce qu'on met dans le rack. Si vous mettez des unités prévues pour 19" dès le départ alors c'est le bonheur :-)

Es bonito, barato y muy bueno! La verdad lo compré con un poco de escepticismo porque no conocía la marca o el modelo, y lo necesitaba para poder atornillar un acondicionador de electricidad de una unidad de rack. A pesar de parecer algo delicado e inestable, es todo lo contrario. Se sostiene muy bien, no pierde forma, las gomas son bastante anti-resbalantes, y trae todos sus tornillos (incluyendo los necesarios para montar unidades). Seguramente compraré otro si necesito más espacio.

Habe das Rack sehr zügig bekommen, die Verpackung war auch gut.Zusammenschrauben geht in 2 min, dann kann das Rack befüllt werden.Die obere Stange wird nur gebraucht, wenn mann das Rack nicht vollständig befüllt,ansonsten wird die Stabilität von den eingeschraubten Geräten übernommen.Das Rack macht ein guten Eindruck, ist sauber verarbeitet. Es liegen alle Schrauben mit dabei.Die Lackierung ist in Hammerschlag matt und macht auch einen sehr soliden Eindruck.Für den Preis gibt es von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Ich habe mir gleich mal ein Zweites bestellt.

Permet de racker mes différents synthé et effets. Produit économique mais vraiment pratique. Une étoile en moins car les filets permettant de visser les racks ont été peints donc beaucoup de mal à visser. Solution : sacrifier une vis qui va permettre, en forçant un peu, d'enlever la peinture. Je referais malgré tout l'achat
