Works Great
Space is at a premium and I hate clutter. So I'm using two mini computers to save space and I bought this KVM switch to share peripherals. Setup was easy. It comes with two USB and two HDMI cables to connect to the computers and has three available USB ports for devices. The cables are large and unwieldy so I stuffed everything behind a shelf under the desk. Everything is out of sight and there are no visible wires or cables and the desk is clutter free. In one port I plugged in a USB receiver for a wireless mouse/keyboard combo. In another I plugged in a USB to audio jack adapter so the computers can share one set of speakers. In the last I plugged in a powered 4-port USB hub to handle external devices like card readers, CD players and external hard drives. It takes about six seconds for the monitor, KB and mouse to switch between computers. Not bad

So far works perfectly
Company replaced my pc with company one. I needed to still use mine for many applications that I did not want to put on company pc. Just needed a 2 pc kvm and viewed many different ones online. Settled on this one, especially with the remote. When I received it and saw all the cables, for a few minutes I tried to figure the configuration and was a little confused. After a few minutes of clarity, I plugged the cables in and all worked. I love the remote as the pc's are a little out of arms length. Takes a few seconds to switch but works flawlessly. I was concerned that the wireless keyboard/mouse I had would not work, but no problem. All works great. Just hope it continues.

Fast and useful KVM/USB Switch
I work from home and use the same space for my home computer and my work computer. In my case, my monitors have dual inputs, so I don't really need a switcher for video, but I do share my keyboard and mouse between the 2 systems. (In other words, I have not tested the video part of the switch, just the USB switching.) I've tried several USB switches, and most of them were ok. The main aggravation is the lag when switching between machines. Some switches would take 2-4 seconds to disconnect the USB devices from one machine and connect to another. This is not a serious issue, but it would get tedious on days when I needed to switch back and forth often. This switch changes control almost immediately, which I really appreciate now. I also wanted this switch because of the remote button. I wanted to be able to position the main switch somewhere that didn't take up desk real estate, then run the remote wire to someplace accessible but not obtrusive. (Even a small USB switch takes up a lot of space when it has 4+ cables running into it). This was a great plan, but 2 things have kept it from working the way I wanted. 1) My keyboard and mouse both use 2.4 GHz wireless receivers on the switch, and apparently they interfere with each other unless I position them properly, which means ON the desk. This is not a problem with the switch, it's just my setup. 1) There is no PC indicator on the remote switch. The only way to know which computer has control of the devices is to see the main switch. This seems weird to me. The remote wire is about 4-5' long, which is a decent amount to let you manage a lot of your video and usb cables behind the monitor, but you can't leave the switch there if you want visual feedback of what PC has control. If you don't have a problem just wiggling the mouse to determine whether the switch is set to the computer you expect, then this wouldn't be a big deal.I believe the USB ports are USB 2.0. This is no problem at all for keyboards and mice, but if you want to share something like flash drives, you might want to look for a USB 3.0 switch to have faster transfer speeds. All things being equal, I think this is a very good KVM switch, especially at the price. I wish there was an LED indicator or 2 on the remote so that I could totally conceal the main switch and all the attached cables, but I love how fast the device switching works. Overall I'm pleased with it.

I've tried them all...this is the best one by far
Very reliable, well designed switch. I've tried several other switches, and all have had problems waking, flickering, blacked out monitors, etc. This is easily the best and most reliable switch I've used and I highly recommend it. No flicker, no failure to connect, all good. Remote is great too, it's reliability allows me to put the switch in a hard to reach, discreet location with confidence.
