Our cat can't use the safety release collars as he loses them almost immediately, the buckle on this collar is sturdy and the elastic gives us peace of mind that it is safe for him. The colour is a really nice shade of red and shown well in the product photos - the bow is lovely and makes him look very smart! Some collars we've had in the past have been a little big for our cat, but this one has a really good range of holes on the strap so would fit all sizes!Edit: after wearing the collar for about a week the bell managed to unscrew itself from the collar revealing a large screw sticking out of the bow at the front which could have been quite dangerous if we hadn’t spotted it. We’ve now removed the bow and the screws which is a shame as that was partly the reason we bought it.

My kitten has een wearing this collar for just over four weeks, hence I can't send it back. The bell that holds the bow in place has disappeared. I paid the higher price for this collar because I stupidly thought it was higher quality than the £1.58 free delivery version (yes you wait a week) available on amazon. Disappointed to say the least.

Worst collar ever! Looked really cute, but my cat got it stuck in his mouth and round the back of his head, he was choking, we couldn't get it off. Managed to prise a finger under and cut it with a pair of scissors. He'd had the buckle caught in his jaw, cut his gums to bits and lost a tooth. Looks good and good price and delivery, but none of that is worth it if you value your cats life.We just nearly lost our cat just because I wanted him to wear something cute, huge mistake, never again.Might be better for a dog.

I feared the collar may have arrived and been a little cheap looking, or poorly put together, but ,its actually not at all, quite the opposite.It's a velour style material but its quality faux/leather. It's a buckle rather than a clip so I wouldn't advise if you've got an active cat... mines an indoor feline of leisure.

This is a beautiful well made collar and looks so cute on my adorable cat Luna. She seems very comfortable in it even though she had never worn a collar before. I did remove the bell before I put it on her though. I have read that having bells on cats collars can be cruel. It is not only repetitive and annoying but can impact on their sharp hearing. If you are worried about your cat killing birds please google it and you will see there are other methods/collars that can help.

Within one hour of putting the collar on a sleeping kitten (so not even had the chance to run around in) the coating has cracked off leaving it looking old and tattered. I’ve just had to comb all the flakes out of her fur and already looking for a replacement. I wouldn’t recommend.

Great size vey pretty

Nice collar but the bell didn’t last two minutes before it come off. This then results in the bow unravelling, wasn’t impressed so contacted the seller who offered a refund
