Pleasantly surprised! A great product.
Having tried a variety of suction holders (which have all fallen off at some point) and flirted with air vent holders (which are okay unless it is hot or cold and then the 'phone blocks them)........I thought I'd have a bash at this.It is really good.It fits easily and without fuss into my CD slot - it is really secure and doesn't move at all.The pack comes with two metal plates. I put BOTH (side-by-side) into the case of my Galaxy Note 9 - which is a BIG 'phone.The plates adhere to the magnet with ease - even through the 'phone case - and hold my BIG 'phone in place - removal of my 'phone is easy too if you lift and give a tiny twist :-)I throw my car around a bit and there hasn't even been a hint that my 'phone could fall off.A great product which I highly recommend.

Fits nicely in Mercedes CD Slot.
It's the only phone holder that stays in place in Mercedes SLK R172. Vent holders are falling off due to the shape of vents. Tried that before. It fits nicely into CD Slot and it's far enough from buttons, so you can still press them. Obviously you can't see them any more but most drivers know what's where in their cars.Magnet is very strong, so I have to hold mount to remove the phone. Otherwise it would move in the CD slot.I suspect it may damage lining of CD Slot over time or change shape of it. But in this age we don't have to worry about CD players too much.--Update on 30/04/2018I removed the vent holder and lining of CD is damaged. I sold the car but I won't be mounting holder to another SLK. It's in too good condition to damage something in it. I will try to sell holder on Ebay now.

Yeh, surprisingly good. Has held the phone in place without issue.No need to permanently stick the metal plates (included), just tuck them into your phone case and they’ll do the job.

Brilliant little gadget
Brilliant little device. Our new car doesn’t have a sat nav display bit with this, you don’t need it!
