Normally never write reviews, especially not on Amazon and I definitely don't want to be "that guy" who does the one bad review, but this software has driven me far enough.You might be curious about this software and maybe you've looked it up? Good, Great! Bet you were thinking of buying it? Well go back the way you came! Because this is a dirt road that leads to a dead end, then when you try to turn back, your in a maze of dead-ends!It advertises itself as efficient and easy to use for beginners! It's not :| You could read the 180+ page help me guide to better use the software...if it was actually helpful.The software also chooses to stop functioning frequently!Maybe you don't want to use the software to it's full potential? Maybe you want to create an audible comic, with recorded lines and sound effects! Well guess what? It can't even do that without clusterf*cking. I can't get 5 pages of a comic done with sound effects and recorded dialogue because they left out something they didn't want to tell the consumer!That something is: YOU CAN ONLY MAKE SO MANY AUDIO TRACKS THAT WORK!!!What do I mean by that? Well, you can keep adding Audio Tracks on top of each other like any video software, but after so many, audio will not play from the most recently imported sounds! What does that mean? Downsize your video or take some sounds/voices out of it! Which isn't helpful in the slightest!

Certainly a quirky piece of software.I haven't used the sound features so can't say whether they work or not but the software is not really a tool to create art but it is a place where a lot of different resources can be combined together into a comic / panels / animations etc. I have enjoyed using the tool but I must admit I got it fairly cheap via one of their special deals and it is a useful addition to the graphic software apps pile. I have used it for a number of projects and it can be superb and frustrating at the same time.I would love to see some updates to the software though but it works fine for my needs on my windows 8.1 machine.

Many years ago, I used a previous incarnation of this software - in fact, I think it was the first version. It was easy and fun to use, and produced (for the time) impressive results.A little while ago I became aware of this new version, and though it might be fun to give it a shot.I got it at a very reduced price - and even so, it wasn't worth the cash. It's an unwieldy non-intuitive monster of a thing, and if you ARE rash enough to buy it, you'll have to be prepared to visit YouTube and view the badly made demos if you want to make even the most basic animation, because - wait for it - It DOESN'T come with a manual. Seriously. I see that the boxed version claims to include a 'quickstart' leaflet, but if you buy the download version you won't even get that. Not a bit of 'quickstart' info; Not even a link telling you where to find a pdf user guide or manual. Zilch.The best advice I can give you is to close this webpage and slowly back away from the computer until your sanity returns and you've given up any thoughts of buying this thing. I mean it!
