Great pump, after some modifications
Bought this as a replacement unit since the nozzle broke off of the first one and the company does not sell replacement parts. I have never owned a gas can that didn't leak when pouring, I'm starting to think they're designed to leak. This is the only way I can refuel my mowers and premix cans without spilling gas everywhere! Just remember it works as a siphon, that means in order for it to work you have to have the gas can higher up than what you're filling with gas. It usually takes a pump or two to get things flowing and then it comes out fast, so be careful the first few times you use it until you get the hang of it. The only thing I don't like is the black trigger guard because it is in a bad location and awkward to use, especially when pumping the handle. Simply take the handle apart and remove those pieces and it's so much better. I'm also not thrilled with the hook to hold the handle, as it is too short to do any good. I use a small bungee cord and a carabiner looped through the gas can handle to hold it.

Broke after 3 weeks and 2 uses.
handle Is very fragile. Like a 3 year old will break it within 5 mins fragile. But there are no other options on Amazon that I know of.This one sucks.

Perfect replacement for a 14 gallon flo n go gas tank, save some money on grocery store gas
Worked perfectly as a replacement for the pump that broke on my 14 gallon Flo N Go gas tank. I believe I broke the original one by clamping the handle open and then allowing it to hang in my vehicles gas tank. The weight of the gas + clamp in cold Ohio winters caused the plastic to get a stress break at the top on the black spout right where it meets the red handle part. So if you're pumping with this, don't be lazy, just hold it open even if it does take a few minutes to drain those 14 gallons. To install, I sliced the old one off as close as I could to the handle, then I just pushed the new one onto the existing hose. The rest of the kit did me no good as I didn't need it. I bought the 14 gallon tank to take full advantage of my grocery store gas discount as none of my vehicles can take the full 30-35 gallons of discounted fuel, no reason to throw away 15-20 gallons at $1, $2, or even full price off! I saved $1570 on gas last year using the tank with this handle.

Replacement for my original
I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting this one to be better and different from my original. I've had the original for approximate 3 or 4 years. I had to replace the original because I broke something inside of the nozzle and it would leak gas when I was pumping.

Highly Recommended
I have used a gasoline generator for home power outages for over 20 years and have always found the most unpleasant part of using a generator is dealing with the gasoline. I find it difficult to lift, operate the spout, and pour a 5 gallon can of gasoline without spilling gasoline. Over the years I have tried various methods and siphons. Flo n Go has mixed reviews. I have found that it, although not perfect, is the best.Pros: - Once assembled it works well with a steady, easy to control flow of gasoline. -No spill. -No gasoline smell on your clothes. -Great service from the company (see below)Cons: -The rubber hose can kink near where it attaches to the pump. Another reviewer wrote that he used a pcv shallow curve elbow at this location. I have not done this. It would help, but I find that I just straighten the kink and it works fine. -The parts seem fragile. -After using it about 20 times over a year the pump broke. - Assembly can be a little difficult. (see below) -It can be difficult to get the screw-on cap to fit your gas can. I have not found this to be a big deal. The system works even if the cap is not a perfect fit. You can't store the can with the Flo N Go attached, but I just use the cap the came with the gas can for storageTIps for assembly and use:Immersing the ends of the rubber hose in hot water soften the rubber hose enough to make it easy to attach. Attaching the short plastic tube to the lower portion of the yellow valve is a bit more difficult. Warming the tube in water and a small amount of vasoline help a great deal. Here is a video that helps with assembly: [...] There are other videos that show you how to use it. As with any siphon, the gas can must be higher than the tank you are filling. As I noted above after using Flo N Go about 20 times the pump no longer created any suction. I called the company, and they said the bellows inside the pump probably broke. They were friendly and helpful. They sent me a replacement pump without charge.I have recommended Flo N Go to several people. Those who bought it have been happy with it. I would buy it again.

Great product if you use it the way it was designed.
This is a great product! I bought it to fill my pontoon boat and it works great. Before I had to hold the 5-Gal can and pour it into a funnel that overflowed or spilled frequently. Now I just set the can on top of the gas compartment cover, put the hose in the can, put the nozzle in the gas filler, pump the handle a few times and wait for the can to drain out (about 2 - 3 minutes). The only effort to gassing up the boat now is lifting the cans up a couple of feet to the boat.If you want to fill any other tank you just need to make sure there is a suitable flat place to sit the can that is above the tank fill opening. This is a siphon system so don't try to use it any other way or you will be disappointed.I am getting another one for the house to use filling up the mower and cars from 5-Gal cans.
