Garnier BB Cream Original Medium Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15, Glow Boosting and Hydrating with Mineral Pigments, Enriched with Vitamin C, Grapefruit, 50 ml

A few years ago, my skin decided to get all awkward on me. I had lots of flaking and blotchiness, and buying foundation suddenly became a nightmare; nothing seemed right. I tried so many brands before finally sticking to (of all things) Leichner, believing that in my case simple was best. What I really liked about Leichner was the fact it seemed to be the only foundation out there that didn't leave my skin flaky and dry. The downsides were that it was slightly too greasy with moisturiser, and far too cakey and heavy without, but I put up with these shortcomings because I couldn't find a better alternative.Well, at last I think I've found one. Nowadays I just want my skin to appear natural, and this cream definitely ticks that box. It's still simple, but unlike Leichner, it isn't too greasy or dry and covers just enough; it's as efficient as some foundations without looking as obvious as most of them. It also blends beautifully (just slap it on any old how in a hurry -- you can't go wrong!) and has a lovely fresh, green type of fragrance. I was accidentally sent a Light shade instead of the Medium I ordered, but this turned out to be a fortunate mistake as the lighter shade is perfect for my pale olive skin; it matches exactly. If you want a more bronzed appearance, then just go with your usual shade. I should also mention that I use a little moisturiser with this cream, as my cheeks get insanely dry in the cold weather, but I could probably do without it come the summer. Actually, I'm looking forward to enjoying the warmer weather without the make-up melting off of my face!02/11/12: Didn't need any additional moisturiser this summer and my skin felt soft, nourished and definitely not greasy! I have very dry skin and this is a small miracle as far as I'm concerned, so I would thoroughly recommend this product to others with the same problem. Also -- and I don't know if this is just a coincidence -- but many people have estimated my age at around five to seven years younger than I am since I started using this cream! They think I'm mid-20's, when I'm actually early 30's. Some of them have even believed me to be completely line-free, which I'm not. So whether this is really a BB cream or an inferior imitation, I reckon it creates a rather good illusion for its £7.50 price tag.

this bbcream is timeless and really smooths the flaws in my elderly complexion - skin feels moisturised and toned and you need such a small amount to cover your face and neck - one application lasts 8 hours - it seems slightly darker in tint than previous purchase but that maybe me being paler - would recommend

It came a bit crushed in the package but the actual cream was fine.Just tried it on my face, I'm naturally quite tanned so medium is almost the perfect colour - looked to dark but on it's fine. I can't say for the sun protection much, it doesn't actually say on the bottle itself whether it's spf 15 but the box does so not sure.It's thick compared to a normal moisturiser and I wanted to use it more as a tinted moisturiser over a foundation replacement, I never actually use foundation so this alone was quite a lot of coverage than my 0 coverage I usually use. Was looking for something that can blend the colours of my face a bit better cover small blemishes but not be a thick foundation - this is perfect. I'm thinking of mixing my moisturiser with it to make it a bit thinner and more moisturising but from first application I can't complain.Will have to see whether it's really wonderful the more I use it.

This is now one of my everyday essential products. Gone are the days of pore-clogging foundation - I'm a BB-girl now. I have fair mixed skin, and the cream (in "medium") gives me a nice bronzed glow without being greasy. A dusting of light powder in my T-zone, and I'm good to go. It doesn't give you that "flawless" look of a foundation, but it does even out your skin tone and is a more natural-looking alternative. It never gets "cakey", but blends perfectly into your skin. If they say this product helps fight pimples, I'm even inclined to believe that, because I don't see any anymore... I was a bit concerned that the cream would stain my clothes, but it washes off easily. Would recommend it for all skin types except perhaps oily skin.

Pleasantly surprised by this product!!!I really like an even coverage when I wear foundation, but was getting sick of the feeling of wearing it all day and my face feeling sticky and greasy from my makeup. Coverage is one of the main things I look for with makeup, and when working in retail at a luxury beauty shop, I tried tinted moisturisers from more expensive brands, but they did not give the coverage I was looking for.Recently I have been wanting to find one so bad that had a medium coverage... so the other day I bought this.I can’t believe how great this is... medium, natural coverage, but buildable. Also, it smells amazing! Feels so lightweight and fresh. I blend it out with a makeup sponge and it looks great. So happy with this!!

I have tried many BB creams over the years but have always given up as my uneven skin tone always seems to shine through but having a tanned face I thought I’d try again and I’m really pleased I did, the coverage is great as is the colour match to my skin, I didn’t have great expectations on previous experiences but I was really surprised and have been using this now since the day it arrived will definitely buy this from now on. Doesn’t sit in fine lines and wrinkles which makes it a win for mature skin.

I love this product. It goes on easily and smooth and gives good coverage without being heavy or drying. I hate that look when it is so obvious you are wearing a lot of makeup (foundation and cover up products). This give a smooth natural finish which I love. Let’s have a new makeup movement where we ditch the heavy, unnatural, almost impossible Kardashian style makeup and make natural, barely there makeup the new trend. We are more beautiful when we are ourselves.
