Fun for a Party!
I bought this game for our family/ friend parties. It's usually a bunch of couples and in laws, all of us ranging from 30s to 40s. We recently played with a group of 10 people and it was a blast!! We found that if we closed our eyes, along with turning off the lights, it was much more fun because of the "suspense". Lol Once you get it going its fun. We didn't even pay our "roles", but it still got everyone talking over each other and voting on the killer. Would totally recommend.

Seems like a fun game to play with a lot of people but the ad is incorrect~you can't play it with 2!
I didn't realize when I ordered this card game that you need quite a few people for playing it & to make it fun, so just be aware of that! It isn't a game that's even possible to play with 2-3 people, unfortunately. So it's completely incorrect in the ad how it says multiple times that you can play it with "2-26" people. No, you can't play it with 2 people, since one of the players has to be the "Son of Sam killer" so then the other player would automatically know who the killer is. So that was a disappointment since I got it mostly for my son & I to play it together, but it isn't even playable with just 2 people. So the seller needs to fix that in their ad & give more information about how the game is played so that customers understand before purchasing this that they really need a lot of people to play this game...or at least a handful of people. You could try playing it with 5 people, but one round of it won't last very long...which is fine, since you can just re-shuffle the cards & play a new round with a new "killer," but it's probably best played & most fun with a group of people most likely, I imagine. It's at least a very minimal game for a family/friends being able to take it somewhere like camping, etc...it's just a small deck of cards, so it's definitely handy for taking places! You can fit it in a pocket, purse, etc.I was looking for a simple "murder mystery" type of game to play with my son & I'm probably going to get the game "Clue" for us, but I came across this one & thought we'd try it, but when I opened it up & started reading the instructions I realized you need a lot more people for playing it! So I think this could be a pretty fun (and easy) game to play at a gathering/party/holiday. Especially for teens too! :)The card characters/illustrations are a bit goofy, which adds some silliness to the game & I like the very minimalist packaging to it~just a small deck of cards in a slim box & the instructions for the game are on the back of the box so there's no paper instructions sheet to worry about losing, so it's very easy to take it anywhere to play it at a get together, picnic, party, bbq, camping, etc. Just be aware that it isn't a 2-3 person game!! :(

A Simple Game but More Players Are Better
I was excited for this game after seeing it in Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building. It looked like a lot of fun for a group. This game is pretty simple. Players get a card, with one character being the "Son of Sam" serial killer. Each turn the lights go out and everyone closes their eyes and the murderer choses a victim. Everyone votes on the murderer and the person with the most votes is out. If that person isn't the murderer, the game continues. The cards are simple with a variety of characters of various genders/ethnicities. The character you get isn't really important but it adds a fun retro element to the game. The big But in this is that the game is that it really only works if you have a lot of people to play. It won't work with 2 or 3 people, since there won't be enough challenge to it. You'll probably want to wait until you have at least 10 people to play but it will be the most fun if you have the max of 26. If you have a lot of large gatherings or do programing for a library/college/&c. this would be a good game to pull out.
