Good read but it was very dark at times love auroras amd Alexei what they went through in the past was dark but I'm glad they got there hea x

The fourth book in the Belles and Mobsters series and even though I have loved every single book in this series I honestly believe that this author has excelled herself this time. I mean a tortured and broody tattooed anti- hero in Alexei and a strong, ballsy take charge heroine in Aurora, the fact that he’s a mobster and she’s a federal agent what’s not to love about this book! If there was ever a tale of opposites attracting this is it. With a fantastic plot full of twists, turns and suspense that will keep you absorbed while tugging in your heartstrings, this was just an amazing read for me. I am so glad I discovered Eva Winners books this year

Another amazing book in mobsters and belles series.Alexei is hot, tattooed and broody mobster that tries to break human trafficking circle.So when he decides to work side by side with FBI, he gets sassy agent Aurora.Aurora is beauty with brains and smart mouth. Only if she knew she met Alexei years ago.They both have same goal, they have their personal demons to battle, while having hot connection that sizzles with sparks.There might be things that can trigger some of you, so please check for your TW.

I started the book for the cover and stayed for the plot and characters. Really good story and really nice tension between Alexei and Aurora. I have to say the links with the other characters seemed a little forced at times but it did make me curious. Good read

This was a really heart wrencher, the trauma, abuse and pain that These characters endured made.This storyline stronger and the damage it cause to a.family. This was an incredible journey for Alexei and Rora. There chemistry and passion was.explosive. This was filled with betryal, vengeance, violence, action, drama,suspense, passion,forgiveness and love. A captivating read.

I love this series of books, and Alexei has got to be my favourite yet by far.Eva your writing skills truly are amazing. Thank you so much for another brilliant book!! 🤩❤️

Aurora, in contrast to Alexei’s darkness, is a shining light that gives him purpose and belonging.Aurora herself is the daughter of a senator, yet despite the wealth of her family, works in the public domain as an FBI agent. She’s smart, strong and sassy, but she has her own childhood trauma, that fuels her search for the truth and closure.Alexei and Aurora meet when a common goal brings them together, their joint search to end the heinous acts of a mutual nemesis, force them together and when in such close proximity their chemistry ignites. Having read the other books in this series, I've been looking forward to reading Alexei's story, and I wasn't disappointed. He was everything we've come expect from his previous appearances in the other books.A broken man with lots of hidden angst and misplaced blame (on himself). Enter Aurora, an FBI agent, brought in to work with Alexei and his brothers, to track down a child kidnapper, someone known to both parties.The story builds around this and the growing attraction between closed off Alexei and mistrustful Aurora,and their hunt for the kidnapper. This book introduces us to Aurora's brothers, the Ashfords, who, I'm sure, we'll hear more about.Secrets and misunderstandings abound throughout this book, making it a worthwhile read and adding to the ongoing storyline between the families.I'm looking forward to the next book already!I received an ARC of this book and am leaving an honest review.
