The Essential Rock Playlist (Guitar tab songbook)

Brilliant

Positives - it contains a great selection of classic rock songs (as listed in a previous review), and these are accurately tabbed.Negatives - Although the notes are correct they are often placed in strange places on the fretboard. For example there are various parts of the solo to "smoke on the water" where the printed tablature has you moving up and down the fretboard when it could quite easily have been written in one position. Not a colossal issue, but I have found myself retabbing some of the faster sections. Also the tabs are printed quite small compared to most other tablature books.

A bit more crap songs than I would have liked in this selection. Still nice to have.

it has tab, which is great. My son is looking forward to trying out some of the tunes
