Having done some research I started taking these just after Christmas, over the last 6 months I had suffered from brain fog, weird dreams (the kind you have when pregnant) troubled sleep and when finally the hot flashes kicked in I realised what was happening. I started to take red clover and within about two weeks the hot flashes subsided, a peaceful night sleep and I started to remember what had happened last week. I must admit if I miss taking them for a couple of days some of the symptoms sneak back and my husband asks if I have been taking my pills. So all in all a true success for this marvellous tablet. The only downside is I have to put initials on the back of the packets for days of the week to prompt me to remember to take them! But a small price to pay. (I would have thought the manufacturer would have had this idea bearing in mind their target audience. I only take the original strength as my symptoms were not so severe. I am about to get my cholesterol checked to see they have helped reduce it?

Great tablets
Started taking these tablets in August 2012 after experiencing night sweats, depression, anger, and a variety of other symptons that I put down to the Menopause. I noticed a change after about 2 weeks, the night sweats disappeared as did the other symptons. The tablets seemed to level out my hormones and I felt 'normal' once again. I have just completed the 90 day treatment and I am going to purchase more as I do not want to go back to the way I was feeling before. If you're a sufferer of these symptons please try Promensil, they cost next to nothing per day and its well worth it.

Helped with hot flushes
Arrived on time, if slightly squished! Helps with (but for me does not eliminate) hot flushes. Reduced in frequency and intensity.

Have been taking them for about a month, increased to 2 a day after 2 weeks found slight improvement, if it does not get any better when I have finished the full 90 tablets will not be buying any more .

Promised so much but gave so little!
For me this did not work, in fact it seemed to make the hot flushes/night sweats worse. I stopped taking these tablets. Shame because I could certainly do with a break after 9 years of 'the hots'!!

Wonderful Promensil
I have been taking Promensil for about six months now and it has literally helped me to feel like my old self again. Thank you Novogen!I had been experiencing quite a few symptoms of the menopause which weren't really troubling me that much, such a hot flushes, hairloss and irregular sleep patterns but the one thing that had changed in my life and my husband's life for the worse since being peri-menopausal was mood swings. I have always been a calm and patient person all my life and suddenly with the onset of the menopause I turned into something I did not recognise or like.After about a month of taking Promensil I noticed that I was calmer and the mood swings just disappeared. In the run up to my period I have noticed that I no longer get tender breasts and other PMT symptoms are almost unnoticeable.The Amazon price for a pack of 90 of Promensil was very good value for money and cheaper than buying them from a leading chemist even with a three for two offer. I know where to order them from in future now.Thank you Amazon and Novogen for such a great product :)

Damaged & resealed packaging
The product inside the box is fine and in date but was initially concerned because the box was very scruffy and resealed at both ends.

Finally some relief!
I think the number and severity of my flushes started to decline after about 3 weeks of taking these. I've been on 2 a day, I know it's cheaper to take a double strength one but I was sceptical and these are cheaper! Anyway, 5 weeks in and there is no doubt that I'm having far fewer flushes each day and they are nowhere near as severe. Huge relief; I've ordered another pack and am hoping to drop down to maintenance dose of 1 a day soon.I've tried all sorts prior to this, including Sage pills but nothing worked until now.

I love promensil. I had been using it for years ...
I love promensil. I had been using it for years and didnt think it was doing anything, So, went off of them for a while. Boy was i in for a surprise. Night sweats came back along with hot flashes., etc. Got back online and ordered it. Very disappointed to find that we could not buy them in the USA any longer. So when I seen they were available again but from the UK I did not hesitate. I bought them and had them shipped. I've tried a lot of different ones from when they went off the US market till I found these again. Will keep buying them

Works but need to take twice a day
As a previous customer has stated, this product is only half the strength of what I usually buy. It works fine if you take it twice a day but if you want the convenience of a once a day tablet, then purchase the maximum strength variety. There's one that I have purchased from Natrol and once a day works fine with that one.

Surpising!
I took this for 60 days and didn't think it made a difference until.... WAIT.... I ran out and decided not to buy it again. It was then that I realized that I was getting a benefit. No night sweats, no embarrassing hot flashes while shopping, no emotional roller coaster or forgetfulness as one by one they all returned. I wonder......I bought more and started it again and sure enough all those baddies went away..... I feel great. So I guess my review is give it a try. I works subtly until you realize you feel better.

Can’t get it in the US stores
I can’t find this product in the US. I first found it in Montreal and it works great! Very convenient to get it from Amazon and a much better price even with the conversion rate of Canadian dollars.

Product different from what was shown
The online information did not list all of the ingredients. I thought I was getting the original Promensil like I used to take. This package had heavily coated tablets with several ingredients. I am very sensitive and do not want to take a chance on so many new ingredients. I have not used the product. I would buy the Natrol promensil that I used to get if I could get it at a reasonable price and if they have not changed.
