Tamiya 300035059-1:35 WWII Russian Battle Tank T-34/76, 1942/43 (3).

Cheap & cheerful 1.35 Scale kit from Tamiya. Probably from an old mould but fits together really well & easy enough for kids to get involved with. Tracks are rubber but fit together easily, and can be tensioned using a movable axle on the front most wheels (don't stick the main body together until you've got the Tracks on). Enough detail on the parts to allow you to paint & weather to your hearts content (mine was brush painted with humbrol enamel, then dry brushed with artists acrylics).Nice kit, cheap, looks good painted up.

This is a great kit. The plastic is thicker than the Zvezda kits and has a nice rough look to it. I always use twisted wire for the tow ropes instead of the plastic ones supplied, and the figures are very good too. One of them actually looks like Vladimir Putin. There are two towing bits at the front of the tank, which weren't there in real life but were added to the tank in Bovington Proving ground (I think), which is where Tamiya took all the photos of the T34. You get a choice of Kursk- era turret roof or post- Kursk era roof. As you can see, I used two of each on my Kharkov diorama; the older, slightly more damaged tanks have pre- Kursk roofs. Some interior detail would have been nice; I scratch- built some on the destroyed tank.

Bought as a gift. Since Been told that Tamiya models don’t have the same quality in there molds as air fix do. However , with a little extra work you can make them work

good detail, relatively easy to build, good instructions etc, Tamiya offer good sturdy parts , good mouldings , finished model is superb.

Can not review this model kit by Tamiya, still waiting for it to be delivered. But if I know Tamiya it is most probably another great model kit in 1/35 scale. You can't go wrong with a Tamiya model. CHEERS.

Pros:+Allows for the construction of either early '43 or late '43 models.+Plenty of accessories.+Nice hull details+Inexpensive+Easy construction+Pair of figures.Cons:-Few seams and gaps.-Plastic tow-ropes are difficult to bend/position.

Die Bauanleitung ist leider nur auf Chinesisch. Für Anfänger schwierig, aber wer so etwas öfter macht, kein Problem.
