Good product, length can be tuned, lightweight and easy to handle

I bought this to clean the outside of our windows which are hard to reach. We have high up wooden windows which open with hinges, so the outsides are very difficult to clean. There's no access from outside and from inside it's out of reach without something like this. Although not the easiest thing to do, this did make it possible to clean the outsides to a good standard with some hot water and glass cleaning detergent. The scrubbing side worked well and the silicone scraper left them looking great. The construction is lightweight but strong enough and it can be extended to any length between minium and maximum, which was useful in different locations. I couldn't see any way to replace the foam scrubber or silicone blade so I guess the whole thing goes in the bin when one of those fails? That seems like a waste of money and materials, but it's relatively cheap and if it gives me a year or two I guess I'll be satisfied and buy another one. I marked it down a star because of this however.

Haven't cleaned my windows in years, this device made it easy. Wash with one side, slide off the water with the other side. Windows revived. Very versatile and could reach top of windows with the extendable handle. Great value. Quality product.

To sum up, it’s a really handy, good value but of kit.But... it could be better.I like it and will be using it, but there are two things:1. The telescopic handle thing can be a bit stiff, and inevitably the pole gets a little wet which makes it harder to twist and grip etc, so it can be tricky to change length.2. The rubber squeegee bit very quickly gets a bit soft on the end corners, so as you scrape down the edge of a window, the contact that’s actually made right in the corner can be a bit poor as it bends.Not the greatest description I know, and ultimately it’s fine for what I use it for. Just not the greatest quality product.

Easy to pop back in and correctReviewI ordered this window cleaner based on reading through the reviews provided and combined with the HG window cleaner liquid.This turned out to be a good combination and highly recommended.Having used it to clean 2 very large floor to ceiling aluminum windows, I have to say the quality of the sponge side and squeegee are excellent and they work very well. The glass was very dirty to begin with, having not been cleaned for a few years - a first floor flat which is difficult to access from the outside and I bought this sponge/ squeegee due to its extendable feature so that i could reach outside and clean the top and bottom of the surrounding windows.The length of the pole is just enough to reach all areas of the window which was a relief. I measured beforehand and wanted to avoid buying one of the telescopic 2m+ poles which would be excessive for occasional cleaning.Worth highlighting that this is especially useful and recommended for windows which can only be accessed from the inside (for example in apartment blocks), where you need to reach out of the window to clean an adjacent window or above/ below. The only alternative would be to clean from the ground outside, but this is problematic for many reasons - windows may be too high up, or a very long pole is required (not practical) or professional cleaning. Keeping in mind safety issues, I didn't want to be in a position where i needed to stretch and reach too far so this enabled me to stay inside, open the single window, reach out and clean the surrounding windows at the same time.Extending the pole was very easy and intuitive and it locked in position firmly.I diluted the cleaning liquid and soaked the sponge area in the liquid before applying to the window. Application was easy and the sponge area has a textured surface to remove dirt which it does very well. The squeegee part then removes the liquid leaving a high quality finish. I did use a microfibre cloth on some areas but this was likely due to my poor technique and limited working area - first time cleaning the windows this way.The squeegee itself is very good. The only problem I came across was that it did slightly ease out of it's frame very slightly at one point. Although this may have been a mistake I made by reaching and rotating. This meant the squeegee wasn't completely flat so missed some of the liquid when applying. Although it was very easy to pop back in and it worked great for the rest of the cleaning.Storage is very easy due to the small size when it is not extended.One of the best features of this cleaner is how lightweight it is making it very flexible and ideal foe situations described above.Very happy with this and I imagine it will last for a substantial amount of time and I won't need to replace but when I do, I will likely buy this again.Photos included.

This is absolutely ideal for cleaning ground floor windows. It's lightweight and easy to use with, in my opinion, warm water and a little squeeze of washing up liquid to clean, then a quick turnaround to take off the dirt with the rubber blade. It has paid for itself in the couple of weeks we've had it so it's excellent value for money.

Really very useful especially if people have Arthritis, this telescopic window cleaner is very very good.We are also using it to clean the shower glass and clearing the water out of the shower tray. Perfect.
