Made in India
This is our third Bialetti, we'd tried a cheap no-name alternative after the second and decided to go back to this 100 year old, trusted Italian brand as the quality and coffee just wasn't as good.On opening the box and assembling the parts I was instantly dubious about this coffee maker - it seemed much more crudely made, the rubber gasket was loose and the metal seemed cheaply made. Far below the standard of previous makers which were more conventional in style, and probably simpler/cheaper to make, and disappointing to see Bialetti have farmed out production to India. If you're reading this Bialetti - please leave the cheap, shoddy coffee makers to the majority of other sellers on Amazon, customers buy your products on reputation - one which won't last long with crap like this.

Perfect! Much better than aluminum ones 👍🏻
I'm so so happy wit my purchase! I've been using Bialetti moca pots for years and this is the first stainless steel one that I purchased. I'll be definitely ordering different sizes of this one because it's much much better than aluminum ones in every sense.Coffee tastes better, it fits perfectly while closed, looks better and it's easier to clean (I mean the stainless steel looks brand new after cleaning while aluminum looks tarnished and spotted). All in all excellent product, recccomended.

Great quality for the price (compared to John Lewis prices) really nicecoffee ( so long as you do not leave iton stovetoo long as gets a burnt taste, I take off the heat shortly after the gurgle sound starts and do not use to fine a ground as it struggles to filter, I find a mix of fresh ground with a little espresso works great.

A bit frightening to use on Induction.
Steam and water came round the outside of the safety valve. Water droplets dripped down the side and when they reached the bottom they boiled explosively splattering across the hob. It's also quite noisy, perhaps normal boiling noises in what is a thin walled container, but had me initially wondering whether the induction stove was OK with what is a small diameter pan.I stopped the coffee making after only a small amount had been produced. It did taste very nice (Taylor's Espresso) but I'm not sure I'd be happy using the device again unless I can make it work on our camping gas burner and run it outdoors. We no longer have our gas stove reducing plate.

Very bad elaborated. It is a shame for such a brand to produce things like this. The handle was made of cheap plastic and fitted loosely. Inside the coffee maker I saw a part of the solder, and I am not sure that it is harmless this to be in contact with the coffee. I returned this immediately. 0 stars from me and shame for Bialetti.

2nd purchase after 4 years of constant use.
Bought one in 2013 and after 4 years of daily (sometimes twice!) use, the pressure valve starting licking. So bought another one, the same. Very happy with it, works well and for a long time, lovely cofee, lovely style and big enough for 2-3 daily strong coffee drinker!
