There are two holes in the back to allow you to secure it to the wall using a drill. However, the seller has provided so industrial strength velcro so you can easily and safely attach this to your wall without any tools. The velcro has a glue which attaches to the wall and seems extremely tough, easily enough to carry the weight of the Sky Q mini and the solid metal bracket. Using the velcro solution, you don't have to worry about accidentally drilling through a power cable. Very safe, very smart.Make sure you plan exactly where you want to attach it and plan where the cables will end up. If you don't own a level meter, you can download one onto your phone as an app.

What can I say I hate wires!!!! I had an existing wall mounted TV that had standard terrestrial aerial connected. I ensured all my cables were buried in the wall the last time I redecorated. I made the decision to purchase the new Sky Q product with associated Sky Q mini's spread around the house. To have one of the Sky Q mini's connected to the wall mounted TV meant it was either putting the box on the unit and then running cables to the TV, which would look horrible or look for something else.This product give me an alternative solution which makes the installation neat and hides those horrible cables. I am very happy with the result.

So like many, I originally ordered the Sky Q box thinking it would fit. Had to return it and ordered the Sky Q 2TB version (345mm) that is a perfect fit for the unit with the external power pack. Screwed to the wall and used the sticky Velcro pads to attach the power pack to the side of the bracket. Cables still need to be tidied but that’s a job for tomorrow. Great product.

Bought this as my mother wanted her main Sky Q box wall mounted (it was previously sat on a lift up storage container which she couldn’t open as the Sky box was on top of it). I had to pull the sides of the bracket apart slightly just to widen them for the box to slide in (mainly due to the Sky card slightly protruding. However, I was able to do this with my bare hands without any effort. Easy to install with a large selection of holes in the back frame.I was genuinely surprised with the quality of this product and how good it looks on the wall. And yes, with the box attached to the wall in the corner with the Q box facing the ground, the remote control still works without an issues. Very pleased.

Firm believer of you get what you pay for. Whilst it’s a little on the pricey side, there’s no doubt about its sleek looks and durability. Throw in its easy installation this item is fantastic. Keeps a really nice minimal look, nice snug fit for sky box mini and sturdy too, has NO IR INTERFERENCE issues, working all the time. Please see enclosed pictures, my dark wall doesn’t do it justice, but I can honestly say this is a purchase you will not regret. Absolutely fantastic, if you’re sitting on the fence, don’t. Really pleased with looks, simplicity, zero signal interference.

Do not waste you're money on this unless you want to be buying a new sky box, we attached our with the 3m pads what are provided and it was held in place for all of 10 minutes before the box dropped down all the 3m pads attached to the casing and has left us unable to watch sky as the box has broke and the hard drive has been broken inside now we have to fork out to replace our box, AVOID THIS UNLESS YOUR RIVITING IT TO THE WALL

Good fit, easy to mount and doesn't seem to affect the mini box.Put mine behind the tv and used the touch remote from my main box so it doesn't need line of sight to work.Is a bit expensive for what it is, but same price as others with the better design having the space below for the wires to go.

Well made, fits the Sky Q Mini and WiFi Booster boxes, but at nearly £30 each, arguably 4x the acceptable cost. Sky could have removed the need for such expense by the simple provision of slotted-screw holes in the back of their box. The Sky engineer recommended fixing using Velcro (Hook & Eye fastening) which I will probably do for the other boxes to avoid a £120 bill. So, it works, is good quality but is desperately overpriced for what it is; needs some competition in the marketplace!
