Nice part mounted easy but I had to modify the inside of the transmission plug so the dip stick would move freely it kept hanging up on a lip inside the end plug. I cleaned it up and it works fine

This looks awesome after it's installed! Great quality material. Installed in a 1982 Chevy K10 with a 350SB TH350 Trans. 6"L

The dipstick tube fit nicely into the transmission itself and with a little silicone for good measure it has never leaked. But for some reason the dipstick binds going into the tube just before it bottoms out. This is before and after installing tube so definitely binding inside tube and not the trans. Very hard to get it to go all the way in, with some time of jiggling and twisting it finally goes in. But surprisingly the end of the dipstick fits loosely into the tube making it just barely sit there from gravity. Perhaps i can find a larger diameter o ring to make a snugger fit. Definitely get what you pay for with this product.

Just installed on my 79 c-15 looks good, the fit to transmission seemed a little loose. I changed out the O-rings to a bigger thickness to fit snug. Dipstick is hard to fully push into the tube.

For the price, it’s good. Sticks at the point where it goes into the pan if there’s any angle other than straight. A couple of shoves and it goes in. No markings for high and low, so measure your old dipstick or check in the pan where you need the full level measurement to be.

It all works good...but the mounting bracket was too small. Made my own that sat about 3" more off my fire wall.

Seems to be decent quality and arrived quickly. But it doesn’t seem to lock like it says it does.

Looks good and fits good as designed, but the stick itself is too stiff to fit properly, cannot get it in all the way without much twisting and fiddling, even when tube is relatively straight. Stick should be a cable type, not solid steel rod, unlike more expensive ones. But get what you pay for I guess

I thought the package had been lost during shipping, but it was just late. The piece itself is quite nice!

The dipstick gets caught near the base and won't go any further leaving it out 3""

For the price, I was expecting a bit more than the poor quality product I got. The dip stick does not “lock” into place, it remains loose in the tube even with the supplied oring around it. It’s so loose that I fully expect it to pop out when installed in the car and driving.
