Great product
Bought this product for my dad as he isn't the best with technology and this phone was ideal for him. The buttons are large and clear and very simple. Flip the phone open to answer the call and close the phone again to end the call. Cannot be any simpler than that. The menus are simple to use with good sized writing to allow easy reading. The ringtone is loud so can be heard from a distance. Not too sure the microphone is the best as I have been on the call to my dad and it feels like he is talking very quietly but he is speaking fine. Apart from that, all good.

) which he wasn't happy with, mainly because his eyes aren't as good ...
I bought this for my dad who previously had a Nokia 3310 ( he refuses to get an android phone!!) which he wasn't happy with, mainly because his eyes aren't as good as they used to be and so he couldn't see the keys properly. I read a lot of reviews about different phones, this one also had mixed reviews, but it seemed to offer everything my dad needed from a phone. He's had it 5months now and he's been really pleased with it, the keys are nice and big so he can see to text properly and the sound his loud enough so he can hear it when it rings, and that's basically all he wanted from it.He loves the outer display so he can see whose calling him, his only complaint was about the ringtones which are very uninspiring. I set it up for him and it seemed pretty much straight forward to me, although we did have some difficulty transfering his contacts from his old phone to his new one because we had to change sim cards, but a call to O2 sorted it all out in the end.So if your looking for a phone that does the basics, looks smart and is very easy on the eyes and ears you can't go far wrong with this one.

Great Little Phone
My elderly mother needed a new and simpler phone as she could no longer use a touch screen. This phone is perfect as she just needs the basics of making and receiving calls and the odd text message. It's simple to understand and use and the buttons and screen text are big enough for anyone with slightly impaired sight. She's really happy with the purchase and it was such a reasonable price.

The good, the bad and the ugly...
I bought this for my dad's 80th birthday. After using / playing with the features for a couple of weeks here's my "the good, the bad and the ugly" review:First the GOOD: I found it simple and quick to set up, the blue colour is attractive and it's compact and lightweight. The buttons and functions are very easy to use and the screen is clear and bright. So is the sound quality, even with his hearing aid he can hear people speaking clearly*. Also he has the added bonus of being able to see the caller's name displayed on the exterior screen (after inputting into the contacts first) - if he doesn't recognise the caller he doesn't have to worry about answering the phone. Now the BAD: The back is perilously flimsy to get on and off. In fact, it's wafer thin and I was afraid it would break even though I was being exceptionally gentle with it. The ringtones may not appeal to the many (they're pretty basic), but are more than adquate for my dad. For the record the camera image quality is poor / blurry as best, again this doesn't matter to him as he won't be using this feature. Also the battery doesn't hold it's charge even with casual use and drops a bar pretty quickly. Finally, a reminder icon on the front screen to indicate you'd missed a call / text would be better rather than having to open the phone to check the screen inside. Now the UGLY: My mum's Doro phone is not compatible with it - when we call his TT Fone from the Doro we can hear him but he can't hear us*. I contacted the manufacturer to enquire why this could be and although they responded quickly I didn't actually receive a workable solution to the problem. It's especially frustrating as everyone else's handset works just fine. If I do manage to resolve the issue I'll update this review.Verdict: Based on our personal experience (so far) I'd rate this phone 2.5 / 5. This only takes into consideration the features that apply to my dad and not the camera quality etc, as it wasn't purchased for that purpose. If my mum's phone could call him it would obviously be a huge bonus. In hindsight I'd have bought him a Doro too, which feels way more "robust" than this model...

I loved this phone, but for an intrusive buzzing noise when making a call causing me to rerurn it.
This Lunar phone is in all respects is perfectly designed . The menu is easy to follow and the user can choose between hands free or hand help operation. Hands free is the default option. It is also possible to have ring and vibrate. There are however two flaws. The first is that the two groups of four consonants have interchanged the two middle ones. Thus pqrs when typed becomes prqs and wxyz becomes wyxz. I was prepared to live with this irritating though it was. What I could not live with was the intrusive buzzing noise which started as soon as a call was made or received and just increased in intensity until I was forced to end the call. I tried several Lunar phones and all had the same fault and all had to be returned. In the end I settled for an Emporia which I am satisfied with and importantly there is no buzzing noise when making or receiving a call
