Cheap, reliable & great sound quality.
This is honestly my go to DAW. It’s brilliant for the money with high quality sound and the fluency of being able to plug in vocals & instruments. Ive it for maybe three years now and I use this to record most of my songs and I’ve never had an issue. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cheap, reliable DAW.

Excellent quality & solid built but beware of one caveat...
Solid beautiful 'retro' design.Love the robustness of this unit. Love the angles, the huge master volume know and the retro looking level knobs...Did I say how much I love the look of this thing? :-)Can't fault the sound either. No glitches, no delays. Works very well. Very glad I purchased this over the other unit I was contemplating (Presonus iTwo). However, despite my obvious love for this magnificent piece of equipment, there's is one 'flaw' you must be aware of when setting up this audio interface. It's extremely important you push the USB C connect Very Firmly in the back of the 2x2M. Even if the power light is on you still need to ensure the connector is fully inserted to the back of the unit otherwise your computer might not register the interface.I seen this documented on YouTube and have personally experienced it myself. Not sure if this is a fault as it's easily remedied by securing the connections correctly but please be aware.Apart from that it's a solid and likable little unit that I'm glad I bought.

Great design, practical and sturdy
Great design, practical and sturdy. Performance as expected, plug and play on the MAC. If you are using GarageBand as your DAW of choice, make sure you select the right input channels (1, 2 or both) otherwise no sound will be recorded. Good value for money so far!

Excellent choice, perfect for single users
Fantasic buy. Clearly very popular because Amazon ran out of stock very shortly before I bought this, however it was worth the wait.Spent 3 months (not even kidding) researching audio interfaces and after tonnes of deliberation I decided on this. Definitely the right choice, particularly seeing as my main use for this is act as an external soundcard and to line to my studio monitors. I occasionally plug my bass into the front socket and it copes fine (the clip lights are really helpful here to avoid distortion when recording) and a mic in the back socket. Latency is so low I can't distinguish with my ears!M-Audio website is also excellent, extremely clear instructions to ensure you download the correct driver (I use PC) and straight away it worked after that.Only tiny tiny niggle that I had a problem with is the jack inputs were quite stiff for my TRS cables, took a few attempts of trying to get them in without damaging the unit. Let's face it though, at this value, the problem is more likely I have slightly oversized cables!Thoroughly recommend.

The only real issue is that the input gain pots and led meters do not function as intended - there appears to be no gain at all from 0% level up to 60% then a very steep gain up to 100% making them practically useless. Set to 75% and leave them there
Was a little awkward to setup (had to install drivers before my win10x64 pc would even detect it as a device)While it was working it worked very well. The only real issue is that the input gain pots and led meters do not function as intended - there appears to be no gain at all from 0% level up to 60% then a very steep gain up to 100% making them practically useless. Set to 75% and leave them there, the most the LED meters will read is 1 bar - but the audio signal will good and loud. All in all it's a nice looking unit, pretty tough and looking well made. Then after about 10 days it just stopped working altogether.Returning for a refund and going to buy something more reliable from an audio specialist.

Don't be seduced by this unit's good looks! Terrible quality. Dead after 2 years light use. One year warranty says it all!
I thought this product looked fantastic and bought one less less than 2 years ago and I have been very disappointed. My main issue us that, after only a year or so of light use, the main volume resistor started to crackle and fail and it's now completely dead on the left side rendering it pretty much useless unless I use headphones. Similar to a lot of people on here, I have found that you only need to look at the USB connection and it disconnects which is very frustrating. The quality of the black material used for the main casing is also very poor. The first time I dusted it (with a tissue) it was scratched. I've just checked the warranty and found that it's only a year and I guess this says it all.I also have some M-Audio BX-8 monitors which were supposed to come with 'isolation pads' to find that the pads were 2 mm-thick flimsy little things unsuitable for isolating anything save for my sense of customer satisfaction. I followed this up with M-Audio at the time and received polite but infuriatingly patronising and evasive responses. In short I would never buy from this company again. My advice - get yourself a Scarlett Interface or similar or save your money for something better. M-Audio, please sort your act out because it's just not good enough, not to mention the cost to the environment. Thank you for reading.

Very handy device
This is a fairly simple device, perfect if you play through headphone or if you want to connect your instrument to a computer. One of the handiest features is the ability to blend computer audio with your instrument signal, which makes playing along to songs very useful.I would highly recommend this for anyone. If I had to give a negative about this device, it does seem a little bulky, I am sure they could have made this smaller. However, the size of it is ok.

Good build but playback distortion
Well made with nice smooth control knobs - but the USB drivers are not brilliant on most PC's.The problem is that even using USB 3.0 ports, there just isn't enough bandwidth for working in 48K / 24 bit. Your playback will break up into distorted static which may unpredictably drop back into being ok again from time to time, but will make it impossible to work on a music track if you are using almost any modern DAW. You may be lucky with your set up, but I recommend you check the internet for reviews on USB soundcards. As they go, this is a good quality one, when it works, but once you start getting clicks / pops / distorted playback you know your whole session is doomed.

calidad excelente

Plug and play assuré.
