Anpro Guitar Cable 3 m /10 FT,6.3 mm Guitar Lead Cable

It's early days but, this looks and sounds like a good quality instrument cable. It appears to be excellent value as, functionally, it compares favourably with some of it's more expensive counterparts. It even comes coiled up in a nifty, resealable bag. Of course, although I would thoroughly recommend this product, I do have a little niggle about it. It goes like this: I always keep my cables coiled, as supplied, when not in use. And, to keep them that way, I always use good quality cable ties. Now, this cable is no exception i.e., it has its own cable tie, adorned with the manufacturer's name. IMHO, that's fair: I get what I want, and the manufacturer gets some free advertising (because, small as cable ties might be, we musical folks notice things like this). Which brings me to my point: Why did this cable not come with its own branded cable tie? I mean, worry not, it's wearing one now (I have lots of these) but, according to the branding on its cable tie, it wasn't made by the manufacturer who actually made it. Okay, the nice bag was a good idea but a branded cable tie would have been better, don't you think? Yeah, I know, I'm splitting hairs. Go buy yourself one (or two as I did). No dislikes, the cord is cloth covered and the black and white cloth looks and feels great, the sliver jacks ( L shape and straight ) are very well made and fit snuggly into jack socket, the sound is very good quality, the length is 3 meter witch is long enough to play away from amp and not to long to get in the way when practicing with head phones, all in all very happy with price and performance of cable.

No matter what cable is plugged into a guitar and amplifier there is often background noise. The Anpro Guitar Lead Cable 3m,doesn't cause any noise and adjusting the gain will usually end any unwanted racket leaving virtual silence through headphones. If you are using music through your 'phones, then there will be no mumbling or distortion of the signal. There is a straight jack on one end of the cable and an angled jack on the other and both cable ends are equipped with rubber sleeves preventing fraying of the braided cable covering. All in all it it is fairly priced given it's technical perfection.

Has completely changed the experience of using my guitar on what I thought was a rubbish amp.. Which turned out to be a rubbish cable. As soon o as I replaced it with this one, the crackling stopped, the signal was cleaner and it became a pleasure to play. The cable itself has a pleasant look to it and the fact that the connectors are accessible means that if the connections do become loose (as can happen whilst dragging them round whilst attached to a guitar) then 5 minutes with a soldering iron will have the connection as good as new. Overall, a great cable for a great price.

I bought this as a replacement for the rubbery cable which came with my 2nd hand guitar, which was generating a lot of noise through the grubby cable which came with it on my practise amp. Through this cable there's no undesirable noise, the cable looks great, and the L-shaped plug means there's less strain on the socket at the guitar end. Some reviews mentioned that the cable is pretty stiff and retains its shape from the packaging, but I've not found this at all. Braided cables are generally tougher than rubber-coated ones, but I've had no issue at all in this respect.

First off I'm a beginner so don't know my arse from my elbow about music, I am a joiner so do have experience with cables. This feels like good quality I liked the shrink wrap layer where the cable enters the plug nice reinforcement for a weak spot. All I can say is that the cable did reduce background noise through the amp, the cheap cable supplied with the Bass had an annoying and prominent permanent buzz which went away with this new cable so an unexpected bonus. As for durability I can't say I'm more Bill Wyman in playing than Flea (playing that's a bit exaggerated)
