Replacement Remote for Fire TV Stick (not voice operated)

Great. Took a while to get it to work with our downstairs firestick and even applied to send back, however I gave it another few attempts and it linked to the firestick and works perfectly!So don’t give up if you have issues linking it! I found restarting the firestick completely and then going back into the settings to link it helped.

Fire TV has to be recommended. We have a second TV in our bedroom ( I guess that's the norm these days!).Our original bedroom Fire TV remote was inadvertently wrapped up in the duvet and put in a washing machine whereupon it expired! Our first alternative was the Android phone app which did work well (needs a Bluetooth device) so do try it before you buy this remote. If, like me, you prefer to get away from tablets and phones and prefer a more positive push button action, not swipes!, with easy to find buttons then this is much better suited.I'm keeping this remote away from wrapped up duvets and so expect it to last a long time yet.Tip: As this is used in the bedroom and you may have a still working remote buy this as you can have more than one remote to operate the Fire TV and thus keep one on either side of the bed.

I bought this to replace a remote which fell inside a large recliner, which I would have had to dismantle to rescue the remote.This replacement arrived on time and worked perfectly from the get-go.Well, that's Amazon for you.

We first purchased the amazon firestick a few months back, it included the voice controlled remote . I think the firestick is an incredible little device and its simple and easy design is not far off brilliant. However i would strongly suggest to not bother with the voice controlled remote , as we have had to buy this as a replacement, which by far is so much more reliable and actually responds far quicker than the other control .

I somehow managed to put my original Fire TV stick remote in with a 40 degree wash, and was very happy to discover Amazon offer replacement remotes. This was so easy to set up, it just connected when I switched the Fire TV on for the first time. I had been using the iPhone app to control it for a few weeks before I found this, which was pretty temperamental. I would recommend just buying the replacement remote!

Works like treat as a replacement for the one the dog chewed. There are batteries in the box but they're tucked away deep inside the box and a bugger to get out, I only noticed later.

Good remote bought it as a replacement for the kindle firestick. However, it is quite small and prone to getting lost. I have lost and found it so many times. It just gets lost down the settee or underneath it. I wish it had a tracking device attached to it and a homing device where you just whistle and it would fly back into your hand.

Dieser Fire-TV Ersatz-Fernbedienung mussten wir uns notgedrungen bestellen, als die ursprüngliche nihct mehr auffindbar war.Also wurde diese hier kurz vor Weihnachten 2016 bestellt. Prompt gab es kurzfristige Lieferschwierigkeiten...aber dann kam sie doch noch an. Selbstverständlich fanden wir genau in diesem Momenr die "Verlorene" auch gleich wieder. ;))Der FB ist jedoch problemlos mit dem TV-Stick koppelbar - als kompletter Ersatz oder als Zweit-Fernbedienung.Nun müssen wir also vielseltener suchen als früher. Und im Notfall gibt es ja noch eine Fire-TV - HandyApp für das Smartphone.RESUMEE:Eine klasse Fernbedienung, genauso gut wie die Originale und auch eine gute Ergänzung für chaotischere Haushalte.

Vor kurzem habe ich mir einen Amazon Fire TV Stick gekauft, mit diesem bin ich auch sehr zu frieden. Doch leider ist mir bereits nach einer Woche die Fernbedienung aus ca 1,50 m auf den Boden gefallen. Hierbei ging dass Bedienrad ab und die Fernbedienung war somit unbrauchbar also bestellt euch mir kurzer Hand eine Ersatz Fernbedienung. Natürlich wählte ich hier das Original. Als die Fernbedienung dann nach kurzer Zeit bei mir ankam, war ich zuerst von der Verpackung beeindruckt. Denn diese ist sehr schön schlicht gehalten und ähnelt anderen Verpackungen von Amazon Produkten. Eigentlich dachte ich dass die Fernbedienung in einem einfachen, schlichten Umschlag kommt ohne nötiges Zubehör. Aber der Fernbedienung lagen sogar noch zwei Batterien bei! Dass koppeln war zwar einfach, ohne die "Fire TV App" für das Smartphone allerdings nicht möglich. Hiermit navigierte ich zu den "Einstellungen" und wählte dann den Punkt "Fernbedienung und Controller" aus. Alles weitere ist selbsterklärend. Ich bin auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden und vergebe hiermit 5 Punkte!

So toll Sprachsteuerung auch sein mag, ich schätze die Vorzüge eigentlich. Aber die Nachteile überwiegen mir und da amazon ein amerikanisches Unternehmen ist, egal was die in ihre AGB schreiben, sicher kann man sich nur sein, wenn man auf Sprachsteuerung verzichtet.Anfangs gab es einige Schwierigkeiten beim Erkennen der Fernbedienung mit der FireTV Box, aber nach einiger Zeit hat sich doch beides gefunden und ich bin voll zufrieden so.Wenn man nur diese Sprachsteuerung nicht als möglichen Spion verwenden würde, dann wäre das eine feine Sache. Selbst wenn amazon nix weiter gibt an Daten, werden die teils ohne Wissen abgesaugt. Naja, mit dieser Fernbedieung bin ich wieder "US-StaSi"-frei im Audiobereich.

Dieses Produkt hat mich noch nie enttäuscht. Bis sie angefressen (vom Hund) wurde, hat die erste jahrelang einwandfrei funktioniert. Also musste eine neue her :)Die Verarbeitung ist super. Die Fernbedienung ist nicht zu klobig und selbsterklärend. Einfach klasse Teil. Würde ich mir immer wieder holen!
