So the opportunity to review this really interesting MC Romance came up, before I knew it, I had already signed up for it :DCole Marek, is the President of Knights Corruption MC, who is trying his best to make sure that the club goes legit.Sully Brooks is the daughter of the President of Savage Repears, and the girlfriend of a member - but that's just a glorified title. She is just another casualty of the club. She is abused - mentally and physically and is nothing but a kept secret. Although there are rumors of a beauty that is otherwordly, there is no truth to them, even if no one but Sully knows it!So when the war between Knights Corruption and Savage Reapers comes to head, the only retaliation KC goes for is the kidnapping of Sully, the supposedly"over-protected" daughter of the Prez of Savage Reapers - but what Marek finds is a woman his match!While the plot maybe a bit predictable, especially if you have been on a binge of MC Romances like I have been, the writing is what made me a fan of this book, really! The writing, is simple yet poignant enough to strike where it hurts the most and heals the best.Marek is a typical alpha Prez of MC - alpha with a hint of protectiveness, but isn't exactly looking for love. But when he decides that marrying Sully would be the perfect revenge, but what happens is that Sully ends up unraveling his ordered existence!Sully has been taught all her life that it's the Knight Corruption are savages and brutal even beyond her reality (and that's a brutal reality, she lives by!) but all she has found is kindness and a life without fear - relatively!It was a little hard to connect with Sully, at least for me, even with her POV - but I adored Marek but while it took me time, when I saw how they both were with each other, it didn't take me long to fall in love with both of them!This is a brilliant start to a series, I really hope to keep on reading, especially considering the little sneak peaks we have gotten into the next book!Note: There is clear situations of cheating in this book (not by Marek, but by a secondary character!) and since, cheating really is a hard limit for me, it did lesson my enjoyment of the book in general!

Marek $0.99 314 pgs ***** Cole Marek & Sully 5 stars! I rarely give a 5-star rating but when a book is so good and interesting that I cannot put it down to even sleep for the night, it deserves my 5 star rating. This story involves you in all of the MC characters, especially the main 5. Sully, tortured for most of her young life is so strong it is truly amazing. The care she is given by Marek the entire book was heart clutching sweet even though he could get verbally rough with her at times, he did feel guilt afterwards. He was very young to be the President of the KC and maybe more mature than most 29-year-old men but if you put his age out of your mind, he was a good President. He had the respect of all the members and as a MC book should have but most don’t, there was plenty of MC action, violence, fighting etc. to keep me loving this book. The violence / torture that Sully endured isn’t a play by play but her telling in general what had been done to her so it’s not so graphic that have nightmares from it. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book. This is the first book that I’ve read by Ms. Nelson and I am thrilled I ran across this title in my research for a good MC series to start reading. Well done darlin, you have one more fan of your work.

Sully had endured hell in her young life, what she first believed to be love quickly turned to torture and she longed for a quick death to be released from her torment. And when she is kidnaped by a rival club, Sully never dreamed she would find her salvation.Marek has found his prize, and she seems terrified, pale, thin, she awaits to be struck but is feisty, Marek is fascinated by the beauty, he’s not going to have any special feelings for her, he’s decided, just take care of her. But things change.The journey ahead for Marek and Sully is a bumpy road. Sully finally comes clean and tells Marek the torture she had to endure....it’s an horrific story. And Marek has own personality issues to control.It’s an intense story, with very dark, violent story lines towards women that some may find to much. That saying, it was a well written story with emotion and drama that certainly has the reader hooked. I really liked it!

Le pitch donnait envie, ça aurait pu être bien. Maos l'écriture n'est pas au rendez-vous. Tout vas trop vite, trop de clichés etc...Passer votre chemin.

I quite enjoyed this book ,being a fan of all MC books ! Marek is flawed , short tempered and unreasonable while Sully(terrible name by the way !) has faced her share of horrors . Yet they rescue each other in a way that none foresaw.There are some incidents (written and referred to) that were too graphic for me . The level of abuse shown to have happen to Sully just somehow not an easy pull to swallow . While I'm all for some gritty and raw details especially in a MC book , I just felt it detracted from the tone of the book .Also I would have preferred more pages devoted to Sully and Marek's relationship . But it's a gripping book,with strong supporting characters and a good story line .Fans of MC genre will definitely not be disappointed !
