Classical model, more than a little tricky to get right
This is for the classical model. It's very well made and easy to use. However, I found placement had to be very precise just behind the fret and clamp force required was unexpectedly high. I found I had no consistency to getting a good capo or a buzzing one. In the end sent it back and stuck with my trusty Kyser, that's more fire and forget in its use.

Good while it lasted
The capo worked fine for a while, although it was only used periodically,( I tend to use barre chords generally) the cam mechanism failed. My understanding is that this item comes with a lifetime guarantee, but I’ve found it impossible to find a contact to report the issue to. Shame the item failed as it was probably the best capo I’ve purchased - still disappointing though considering the price. If anyone could provide a contact for the seller I’d be very grateful.

Perfect.
I was sick of poorly performing capos and the only really reliable one I've previously found, after 35 years of playing, was the good old Shub. I wanted something quick to use and low profile. I hate those clamp capos that just get in the way of big hands or force you to adjust the way you would naturally clamp down on a chord. This looked good, but I was perturbed by some of the negative comments about it not holding the strings down and causing buzzing etc. I bought it anyway and I am so glad I did. If you can't easily put this capo on then there must be something wrong with you or your guitar. It works perfectly on my Taylor's and a Simon and Patrick Parlour that I sometimes record with. - I have to ask those who posted negative remarks, how much pressure does it take make to bar a chord with your finger? If you think a lot, well you're doing it wrong. Same with this capo. I can squeeze it into to place with my thumb a forefinger of one hand. Because you only apply the pressure needed your strings don't go out of tune. I can't speak for the longevity of the product, but the first impressions are very positive indeed. If you're proper player you will love this capo.

G7th usual quality!
An excellent capo for my nylon string Faith Lyrawith it's flat fretboard. G7th make excellent capos but i often struggle with how they justify the price. £20 would be much fairer for what it is but it does the job very well - no complaints there. A gentle squeeze is all that's needed and you don't go detuning strings. That has always been one of my main complaints with some other capos. You end up having to retune for one song only to find for the next one you move the capo and have to retune again. This one is pure class and works faultlessly.

You'll never go back to a traditional capo.
It's not often in the guitar world that something genuinely revolutionary comes along, but this is one of them. I've used all manner of capos; shubb, trigger capos, the old loop and clip and was happy with my trigger capos. After getting a G7th I will NEVER go back. It's weird at first because everything you know tells you it can't work, but position it, press down with a little force and bam! It's done! It holds the strings, doesn't move and is also very light. Once you're done press the wee black triangle and off it comes. It easy to reposition one handed if you need to, and can easily sit in place on the headstock with minimal pressure ( I don't know why, but I always did worry about the spring on my trigger capo pushing into the headstock);PROS; very easy to place, reposition and store during playing. Hand pressure only. Very light.CONS; can take a bit of getting used to.Some folk complain about the price ( weird when some folk are happy to buy pedals cost upward of £100/£200 for one specific/particular sound) but I think it's worth every single penny.

Works like a charm
I was unsure at first - I found it a bit awkward to get the right leverage on it to close it fully. But after a few days with it i thought it was fantastic.I've had it a few months now and I wouldn't buy any other capo - intend on buying another for my electric.Worth the money if, like me, you compulsively buy accessories always tempted buy the idea the new one will be better. I think this is the best and so I haven't bought another capo since - saving me possibly millions of pounds :D

Not as good as my existing one
I bought this for back up as I already have one but this one is totally different and hard to use. The tension is the opposite way round so after years of using mine you automatically try to loosen the usual way. I’m not even sure this product is genuine as it’s much thinner but if it is they have messed it up.
