Fun!
I played this game with two of my friends and it took a couple rounds to get the hang of it (and we're all in our 30s!). We ended up finding a youtube video to explain the rules since the written instructions were overwhelming. It's a fun game and can get competitive which we liked. Definitely will be playing this again next time we hang out.

The box is too small. So if you are thinking of gifting this, you might wanna rethink. The game is fun.

Great and entertaining card game with good-quality cards
This is a great and entertaining game. The box is high quality and the cards are thick and high quality as well plus they have a fine finish. The art is decent and can make the game more appealing for kids. The game is a deck-building style game, in which you are trying to complete three dishes (based on the recipes available on the menu cards) faster than your opponents.Game play:There are different types of cards in the deck, ingredients/equipment, toppings, money cards and action cards. On your turn, you draw up to two cards and can play up to three cards from your hand (the numbers could be modified using some of the action cards). You must match the equipment and ingredient cards according to the specific dishes on the menu to finish three dishes before your opponents. Action cards are played to do different things such as drawing more cards, playing more cards, swapping or stealing cards from your opponents and forcing them to pay the value or the modified value of one of your dishes to you. The toppings add to the value of the dish and you can take money from your opponents based on that value, but they are not necessary to finish a dish. Different toppings and ingredients can only go with specific dishes which are specified on the menu card and to be more convenient, they are mentioned on each card as well. The game is super easy to learn, and the manual does a good job in explaining everything with illustrative examples. They have a video that summarizes the rules in an easy way. You can probably learn how to play the game in 5 minutes, max. The playing time varies a lot depending on the situation and also the number of players. We had games as short as 10 minutes and games that we went through the entire deck to know the winner. The game is generally very simple but could involve some strategies about when to play your cards to minimize the chance of your opponents stealing them and finishing the game before you lol.Overall, the game is fun, especially for kids. It is a great deal as well for this current price ($15.99) since card games with a quality like this roll for at least $20 these days. I would recommend it as both a family game and more of a competitive game for adults.
