Better than the YourFacePillow version. Also, tips to make it work better.
This is my favorite style of back sleeping training pillow, but I've never been 100% happy with the OG version, YourFacePillow, which is a bit too soft and loses its shape very quickly. It's also more expensive than this one, which has better neck support, and the "bumpers" aren't too far apart on this one, unlike the YourFace pillow. I was going to replace that one soon bc once again it only lasted a couple of months but saw this one instead and am glad I took the chance!! Yes, these take some time to get used to. I HIGHLY recommend pairing this with a wedge pillow under your entire upper body (make sure it's long enough for lumbar support), put this on top of it, and put pillows under your knees. That combination has been a game changer for me for back and shoulder pain! Yes, I still switch to my side eventually most nights, but I'm like 60% back sleeping as opposed to almost never before. But I would not use it w/o a wedge pillow. (I prefer around 8 inches max height and 25 inches minimum length for a wedge pillow.) I also would not use a wedge pillow without a cervical pillow like this, which is cooler than the regular cervical pillows because your neck isn't fully enclosed. The combination though is golden!

Great neck support and helps stay on back
Works great. I've tried tons of pillows but this one works best for me, specifically due to the side pillows to support my head.

Changing pillow position helped neck pain
I'm normally a side sleeper, but I bought this pillow to fix my neck pain and posture issues because it was recommended that sleeping on my back would help. I slept with it in the position recommended by the manufacturer (see picture) under my neck (C: neck support area) for a couple weeks, but found that my neck was hurting more, not less. Last night I turned the pillow around so that (C: neck support area) was at the top of my head and my neck was only being supported by the straight part of the pillow (B: head support area). It felt much better not having the hump under my neck as I slept, and my neck is not as tight and locked up this morning. I like having the support on either side of my head (A: head fixation area) to help me stay on my back as I sleep, but I'm going to keep it turned the opposite way for my neck from now on. ***UPDATE: I tried turning the pillow for a few nights, but found my neck was stiff and becoming more painful again. I've gone back to my old pillow, and my neck is feeling better. I think using this pillow for awhile helped me to stay on my back more often, but I'm not planning to use it anymore.

Never thought I’d be a back sleeper!
I LOVE this pillow! I have recently been very strict with my skincare and health, and this pillow is one of my favorite purchases. I use this with a silk pillow case on top, and have noticed a difference in my face when I wake up (no creasing or puffiness). I never thought I could be a back sleeper, but it makes you so comfy you fall right asleep. It has a little part for your neck so your head feels like it’s in a little pocket. It is an expensive pillow but I feel it’s worth it. I also had breast surgery and it has helped me from sleeping on my stomach.

Soft, yummy but…
WHY: been looking to try out a pillow that will keep my head elevated and facing forward to avoid causing more lines and wrinkles on my face, and with the hopes of waking up less puffy. PROS: 1. Soft cotton material 2. Soft memory foam that comes in the package already in shape. 3. Cradles your head as indicated and keeps it facing forward. 4. No odor that I can smell CONS: 1. A little bit bulky, it has a pretty large size. If you sleep in a smaller bed, might take up a little bit more space than a regular pillow. 2. Does not work well if you want to elevate your head. If you put it on top of other pillows, or use a wedge for height, the pillow moves down throughout the night. 3. The side bumpers that cradle your head do not give a lot of room if you are using over the ear headphones in bed, or during your sleep. VERDICT: KEEPER of you sleep flat, NEXT if you sleep with your head elevated. I enjoyed sleeping with this pillow, it’s soft and it does the job of keeping your face forward as indicated. However, for those nights that I want to sleep with my head elevated (to reduce face swelling), I will be going back to my traditional pillow stack. Thanks Enjoy! 😊

Not for Post Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty!!!
I gave this product 1 star to warn others not to use it post nose job surgery. I apologize to the seller as this is not to say the product is defective but again, it is not to be used post nose job. The pillow will not prevent you from turning your head at a 45 degree angle which could make it ideal for natural side/stomach sleepers to learn to sleep on their backs. This fact however is what makes it so dangerous post nose job. The worst that can happen with a regular pillow is that you shift your weight to onto your nose during the recovery period which is not good but it’s not that bad either. This could result in added pressure, swelling, and more serious complications only if you shift on to your stomach on a constant basis. However, with this pillow, a slight shift of just your head from a 45 degree angle to a 90 degree angle (even while you’re still lying on your back) could result in your nose being broke. Think of it like a Guillotine for your nose. Your head moves subconsciously while you sleep and your nose would normally not encounter much resistance or shock while turning as your nose would end up perpendicular to a flat pillow. Whereas with this pillow, your nose would encounter the side wall of this pillow (the two sides that support your head). The force of this movement would be similar to bumping your nose on a door post op. Best advice would be to use a donut type pillow that you would use on an airplane. Save your nose, pain and suffering, and 10’s of thousands of dollars and don’t use this pillow post nose job. For all others, it’s seems pretty decent.

Keeps you on your back! Alignment feels amazing
First thing I noticed when I put my head on it was how comfortable and supported my head and neck felt. I feel asleep very quickly on it. I woke up once in the middle of the night and to my surprise, I was still on my back!! I woke up this morning very well rested (and on my back). I’ve been trying to sleep on my back with my regular pillows and have been having a hard time getting comfortable enough to fall asleep and staying asleep on my back. This product solves that and also provides you better support than any $20 target pillow. I didn’t realize how badly my back and neck needed this.

Extremely Uncomfortable
The "ears" of the pillow do a great job of supporting your head so you don't twist your neck while you sleep. Unfortunately, the "base" of the pillow is extremely uncomfortable. I've owned many memory foam pillows and I've never had one where I woke up in the middle of the night because the back of my head was sore from resting on a way too firm pillow. The problem seems to be both the memory foam and the height of the pillow. The pillow is too high. You can either: 1) Position yourself so only your head is resting on the pillow. If you do this, it tilts your chin forward in an uncomfortable position that will also create wrinkles on your neck ... defeating the purpose of the pillow. 2) Position yourself so your head and shoulders are on the pillow. This position keeps your chin from tilting down preventing neck wrinkles, but it's also uncomfortable to have your shoulders and head higher than your back due to the height of the pillow. If the base of the pillow was either made of a softer memory foam or not so thick, it would work better. I stopped using the pillow on night one after about two hours - that's how uncomfortable it was.

Works great
A little too high in the middle for my neck but it does keep you on your back , enjoyed sleeping on it and really wanted to make it work but the high was just an inch too high,
