Not easy to install
Be ready to break of some plastic rivets to install the new keyboard. We used hot glue afterwards to keep it all intacted and held well so far. Keyboard inputs work great so far

Great replacement for the original non backlit keyboard
I took my computer apart so many times trying to get this keyboard to light up. So needless to say it was error on my end. Once I connected the two cables correctly it lit up the pretty blue. I didn't need to turn it on... It was automatic. It turns off once the laptop is shut down. It fit my dell computer perfectly.

Not quite OEM but good enough
Some keys are a bit wobbly, escape key marker is really sharp and numpad 1 and 2 seem to be scrapping a bit with the body but typing wise is a good enough keyboard. Also mine says for 7566 ok box, a previous model, it uses the same ribbon however routing is different on my 7577 keyboard so it was quite a challenge to get ribbon cables folded without damaging. Hopefully it last quite a while cause process is tedious and long.

Seems good
Keyboard worked first try. Installation was a pain, but that’s the fault of the laptop assembly. They keyboard itself is quiet taps, and decent feeling on keys. Hopefully this one lasts longer than OEM

Expected red LEDs, got white LEDs.
While all the buttons work, I specifically looked into this one because it would have red backlit keys. All the keys works and everything, but the led’s are a dim blue and not the sharp bright red of the original. 2/5 because in all honesty if it was still something I’d buy with how it currently is it’d be a 3/5 but I wouldn’t buy it as is so it’s not even 3/5 tbh.Edit: March 27th. I’ve had the product for a while now. Using my laptop a few times now, it’s frustrating.Does the keyboard work as far as buttons registering? Yes. 5/5.Light colour matching what’s advertised? 0/5Light brightness? 1/5. It lights up but is so dim I have to use another source of light to see keyboard. Backlights are weak.Would I still buy it again? 0/5.That’s a 6 points over 4 questions. If I could bring my rating down to 1.5 stars I would but I’ll simply lower my rating from 2 stars to 1 star. Honestly, I don’t care if the keyboard works, that is not a redeeming factor that much. Fact is, I still had a mostly working keyboard except for one button and I could easily read the keys. This replacement is quite a bit of work. From tearing it all apart, to figuring out how to bend the ribbon cables to match the original etc… so much work to get it right and perfect… just for the lights to be weak and not even the right colour. Literally the only remedy is buying something again and hope it’s strong red lights. And for how much trouble this all is… that’s why it’s 1 star in my books. Because it’s simply a product that will leave you unsatisfied as an OEM replacement and you’ll end up getting something else again.

Excellent 1:1 Backlit Keyboard Replacement
Perfect one to one keyboard replacement. smooth moving keys that travel well. Nice tactile feel and smooth all the way across. Strong, with an aluminum back and a nice backlight for those dim lit typing times or sitting in bed trying not to wake the spouse. All this and inexpensive.

Does not work with Vostro 3583
I spent over an hour disassembling a Dell Vostro 3583 to replace its keyboard, only to find at the last step that the 3583 does not have a replaceable keyboard! It has a "keyboard assembly" instead, which means the keyboard is permanently affixed to the top of the case using things that look like plastic rivets. There's no way to detach that keyboard from the assembly, and then attach this new one. I included in this review a photo of the keyboard assembly from the Dell service manual. If you need to replace the keyboard on a Vostro 3583, you have to purchase the whole keyboard assembly, and be prepared for it to take 2-3 hours because you have to disassemble EVERYTHING. It's another terrible design by Dell. This seller has also wasted hours of my time because they wrote that it is compatible with "Vostro 15 3583" when it isn't. It looks like a good quality part though, for the laptops it's actually compatible with.Another tip: check the service manual for the laptop before purchasing a part to make sure you know that the part matches.
