I am delighted with the performance of this small and simple piece of kit, it does exactly what its supposed to, I highly recommend this !! I am using it with a Logitech Wireless keyboard (K270) and mouse (M185) both share the same USB transmitter/receiver, I have a work laptop and home one. The switching its effortless, instead of plugging in and out etc...

I'm using this to connect 2 computers (a desktop and a laptop) to a single, powered USB 3 hub. The USB hub has a mix of USB 3 and USB 2 devices, namely the keyboard, mouse, trackball, joystick and headphones, with the remaining slots being used for our phones and tablets as a charging station with occasional file transfers.It wouldn't work at first, but that was my fault as I had it connected to a USB 2 port, but once I moved some of the other USB devices on the computer around, it was fine.

It stopped working after two months. The signal still passes through to one of the outlets but the switch is broken. Seems like it should have lasted longer than that

Using to switch keyboard and mouse between my personal desktop and work laptop. Works flawlessly and I've had no issues at all with Windows 10/11 or Ubuntu Linux.

Worked initially but stopped after 11 months. Mac mini hangs when connected during boot. Windows keeps tripping in a loop.

Easy to setup. I have a USB3 hub going to it with 4 devices plugged in and it seems to handle it all fine. There's maybe a 1 - 2 second delay after pressing the button, but this just may be windows suddenly attaching 4 new devices.

I needed a way to use one (1) single keyboard and mouse split between two different computers: My work laptop and my personal desktop. The two computers shared two monitors. I have each monitor set to use HDMI1 for personal and HDMI2 for the work laptop. With the work laptop and two monitors, I can have three monitors. I bought this device to solve the issue. Setup took about two (2) minutes, and it's so easy. Take the two (2) USB cables that comes with it. On my personal desktop, I unplugged the keyboard and replaced with the new USB cable. The other end went into this device. On my work laptop, I took the other new USB cable, plugged it in to a USB port and into this device. Then, the other USB input on the USB switch was reserved for the WifI dongle for the keyboard and mouse. Worked instantly with no need to download drivers. You simply press the round button in the middle to transition back and forth. Transition takes no time at all with no delays. Absolutely recommend!!!!P.S. I am not a gamer so I have no idea how that might be impacted.

I love this thing. I really does work both ways, rather seamlessly (whether you're connecting two things to one computer or one thing to two computers).The button has a very satisfying "click" to it, almost to the point of it being a viable fidget toy... And the cables it comes with seem to be really good USB 3 cables. And I really like how there is a number on either side of the switch that lights up, so you know which side is currently live, at a glance. The build quality feels really solid, and the instructions ,though minimal, get the point across (there's not much that has to be explained, though, it does what it looks like it does).One thing to note, if you're connecting a storage device like a hard drive or flash drive, when you "safely disconnect" it I think it basically disconnects from both devices (like it disconnects from the current device, but you'll have to unplug the storage device, then plug it back in if you switch devices). I'm not really sure the mechanics of that.But if you're sharing a storage device between two computers, either "safely disconnect" it, then pull it out of the switch, then press the button to go to the other computer, then plug the storage device back in. Or just don't safely disconnect/unmount the storage device. I'm not sure if I can recommend the second strategy, but this is just something to keep in mind, I guess.If it's mice or keyboards or webcams or whatever, I don't think there's anything you need to worry about. It should work without a hitch!
