These are called icicle lights because they have a 11mtr (35ft) long run of wire with a drop of lights going down different lengths every 12.5cm (4 inches) to create a curtain of light bulbs with an almost random looking set of drops each between 30cm & 60cm (1 to 2 feet long).They are LED bulbs so are very dependable, with a long service life and crucially use very little electricity.This is a lot of lighting effect for very little initial outlay and with a ultra low on cost in electricity.Also LED bulbs dont need to be fettled next year to work, untangle them (More of that later) and switch them on and Robert is indeed your mothers brother. (Bob's your uncle!)These are IP65 rated so are safe to use outside, sadly the UK three pin plug is not and will have to be indoors.The 3mtrs you get from the plug to the first drop of lights is unlikely to be long enough for most people either.The lights benefit from having two channels so they with twinkle, pulse, breathe and can be on constantly which is just about all you can do with just two channel lighting systems.Sadly this means that the one effect I would have desired the most cannot be performed by these lights, I wanted these to be able to have the rainfall effect, where the lights come on at the top and appear to fall down to the bottom which is magical when you see it, you will want it too.So this is a perfectly good albeit basic set of icicle lights that will give your home a great Christmassy look and feel for a reasonable cost, they are good and bright and very cheap to run.My biggest gripe with these is that they are a nightmare to pack away when the party is over, if you find a way to stop this becoming a rats nest of untangle able wires of epic proportions please contact me and let me know how you did it, because for the life of me I cant.Happy to help!Happy to help

The lights themselves are pretty but my house is 7m across and they will barely do the length of the house, definitely won't be able to go up the arch with them. Maybe they're 11m with the spare lead to the plug. Probably why they're such a good deal. But they look lovely and I like that the remote sensor and function switch is away from the plug so I haven't got to keep the plug in easy reach/sight.

I really like these and all works fine not had any problems will buy more when needed

The media could not be loaded. I do think the warm white light on these icicle lights are very pretty they are soft but still very bright. They do seam to be good quality lights with 8 different modes and they also have an energy saving low wattage adapter plug They also come with a Guarantee and a customer service that will give help within 24 hours with any problems so with this in place and these being very pretty icicle lights I have no hesitation to recommend these to others

La guirnalda de luces debería medir 7.2 metros y sin embargo no llega a lo 6 metros. Por lo que en lugar de sobrarnos 0.5 metros par adornar la barandilla de nuestro balcón, ahora nos falta mas de medio metros.Chanco increíble antes de navidad.
