Really great product, excellent quality
I had to replace my old x-cut circle punch because it was so useless and kept jamming. After trawling through all the options available out there and reading product reviews, I settled on the Fiskars Lever Punch M and I'm so pleased that I did!It is ergonomically designed and so comfortable to use. I can hold it in my hand comfortably and the lever makes it really easy to use. This would be a big selling point for anyone with limited hand mobility or who have arthritis or other painful conditions, where they can't use a lot of force or don't have a lot of strength in their hands. It does what it says - cuts 2.5cm (1 inch) circles out of paper, cardstock and I also use it on sheets of labels and get a good, clean cut with no jamming. It is advertied as having a maximum cutting capacity of 180g card. As I recycle the packaging, I wrote this on the bottom of the punch to remind myself, so as I don't damage it by trying to punch out thicker pieces of board. It works extremely well and I have tried punching circles from 160g card stock with no problems - it gives a nice clean cut. It does the same with printer/photocopy paper of 90gsm or thereabouts. What I like the most about this particular punch, is that when I've printed a label sheet of round designs, I can turn the punch upside down to ensure I am cutting around the design neatly, and punch it out without any problems. Even better - the little clear plastic cover that sits over the round hole to catch the paper, can be clipped back into the bottom of the punch and stays that way, out of the way, so that you can punch your circles unobstructed. (Refer to the photos I have attached to see this example).Overall, I am thrilled with this circle punch. I've had it for a couple of months now and use it regularly (every couple of days) and have experienced no problems. Very happy with the quality of this product and even more at the good value for money. Highly recommend it to any crafters out there.

neat little piece of kit
I bought this after seeing a project which used circles punched from old Christmas cards to make a garland, and was a little concerned about whether it would be sturdy enough to get through the cardstock.Well . . . it did punch through the cards for me, but it took a little more effort than I'd have liked, didn't feel very sturdy when doing so, and (as I think has been mentioned before) it's difficult to see exactly the point on the card where the hole will be punched. If I wanted to center the circle on a particular bit of a pattern I had to flip it over and remove the cover from the base of the punch (where the punched-out circles are stored), and it was very tricky to efficiently get the most out of the card I was using - I ended up with a lot of circles with tiny arcs missing from the edge, though if I'd spent a little more time I'd probably have managed to avoid most of that. What can I say? I was having fun!So I've given it 4 stars because to be fair it doesn't claim to be suitable for anything heaver than standard paper and for that, though still tricky to position with any degree of accuracy, it is a perfectly good punch. It's small and neat, easy to store and use, and it gave me a reasonably good result even when being used outside of it's recomended limits.

Where will these hole's led to??
Got to be realistic! Four (****) stars for now. Only because the item has only been used twice. I noticed that the first five/six circles that were cut out, had a dark mark around the edge of the cut out circle. I think its to do with the oil left which has been put there on purpose on the cutting edge, so that the machine cuts with smoothly. Or, becomes stuck during motion of usage?Nice size overall. The arm (so to speak) is a good size. Not to heavy in weight. Was experimenting, to see if this machine could cut out half circles. And it does. So, I thought, I would make some flowers. The flowers looked good -If I say so myself!May have to get all of the different sizes available.Just thought of this idea!(I sometimes make miniature theme for special occasions, as a hobby, out of different types of card, paper, plastic materials.) So, I am going to try and make, out of the materials mentioned above, the following: A plate, a fork and knife and...some cheese. You see! With this machine, you can make that cheese with the circular holes. Sorry! Can't remember the name. All of you cheese eater's out there will know which cheese I am talking about. Dare you to join in.

This is not 1.9cm...
The punch itself is well made etc etc, however...I wanted a circle 2cm punch and this was the closest size to what I needed, but the circle punched out is definitely not 1.9cm, it measures 1.6cm across so is no good at all. I already had a punch similar in size to this so it's a complete waste of time and money for me unfortunately. I stupidly took it on face value and threw away the packaging immediately before trying. Beware if you need a precise size.

Not 1.9cm
Good build quality and easy to operate. Does not produce 1.9cm circles. If this is important for what you're doing, this isn't right for you.

Another great punch!!!!
This punch has just arrived, have tired it on paper and card, had some good quality Christmas crackers that were tied with ribbon and gold berries, so didn't throw anything away they will all come in useful for cards, and the card the cracker was made of is gold with gold glitter, and the cutter cuts straight through the card so the stars will look stunning when used. I try not to throw anything away if it can be used in crafting, you will be surprised by the things you can get ideas from, always think before you throw it out.... can you use it with your crafting!!

Fantastic for gaming!
If you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons then you know that you can quickly run out of this to use as markers for monsters in the battle grid. Plates end up fighting hoards of ravenous d6s.But with this magic 1 inch pog maker, you can create a limitless supply of npc counters on the fly!Together with a sheaf of coloured paper you can make green goblins, red demons, purple whatevers.Mark a cross in the back and you can fill them over to mark them dead. If you like you can even draw faces on the live side.
