Starter Set Carnivorous Plants - 5 Plant

Arrived ahead of schedule, well protected and in good condition.

The plants in the photo are the ones that were delivered today. PLEASE NOTE, I unpacked them and put them in a pot of rain water so they could have a drink, they are NOT delivered like this! They arrived very well packaged and looking healthy. The delivery time was listed as the next day but I didn't think I'd ordered early enough in the day and they would arrive later than that, my mistake! It really was next day delivery, they were re-delivered just an hour ago in perfect condition. They all have care instruction labels and are ready to start chomping on those pesky flies! This is a beautiful selecton of carnivorous plants that I haven't been able to find in local garden centres, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I recommend this seller. Thank you very much!

Was a bit worried after seeing the review with the plants all squashed and wrapped in cling film. Looking at the date that was from a long time ago so took a chance as the price was not much more than a single plant from other sellers. My plants arrived quickly and very well packaged. One large box containing 2 smaller boxes with the plants wrapped in brown paper and with sticks in to prevent them being squashed. Only gave four stars as I got two of the same plant not the 5 different types pictured but I am very happy with them. I water them with deionised water and they seem to be doing well. Would order again from this seller any time. :) the picture shows the plants just after I unpacked them and watered them.

Arrived a week ago looking like they’d not been watered for weeks - a week later after having tlc, they are starting to die. Very poor quality. If no one had an idea about plants these wouldn’t have lasted this long

I am so impressed with these plants and the way have arrived.They were so well packaged! The pitcher plant (nepenthes) is amazing! I lost count of how many perfect pitchers there are!! The other pitcher (sarracenia) is absolutely lovely too. Much bigger than I expected and in perfect condition. The Venus fly trap(dionaea) looks a little off but I did read they are not so hardy so transport can cause some damage. It still has several large healthy looking traps so I have high hopes for it.I would highly recommend this product/bundle. I am so impressed by the quality and care taken to package them all so well. I'm looking forward to watching and caring for my "savage garden".

I was nervous as saw other reviews about bad packaging and broken plants. The seller has definitely taken this on board. Mine arrived individually wrapped in in brown paper and large sticks. Yes there was some damage but expected. it’s not like the delivery is carrying it on his/her lap en route!As far as the plants I only received 4 of the 5 stated but they doubled up on one so I’m guessing they didn’t have one of them.There was a brief plant card with each plant but being new as probably most buying this are then there was nowhere near enough information.Maybe an A4 sheet of paper with a description and care advice for each plant this would have been great.All where repotted the same day but I then had to re-pot again the next day as I didn’t know they needed a specific soil. Now been around 4 weeks-•The 2x Venus fly traps seem to be doing well and recovering from transport and new foliage coming along now.•The Sundew some days it looks better than others but overall no great improvement yet.•The pitcher plant hasn’t improved at all apart from the existing pitchers may be dying off. All are bone dry, I’m unsure if I should add some water to the pitchers to aid in humidity but my research so far seems conflicted.•The Tube plant looks the best of all and appears to be doing very well.•the butterwort (pictured but not in description was the one that I did not get)I have only been using pond water both for misting and sitting the pots in 24/7 as advice suggested.

My plants arrived... not in the best of condition, one or two of them were a bit squashed. I also didn't get the exact plants pictured), I wouldn't blame the delivery company... more the supplier for using a box not big enough for the plants to be transported upright (they were individually wrapped in brown paper, with an elastic band holding the paper in place, but they were all on their sides), I have added pictures to show how they arrived. Also the box could do with some arrows to show which way is up (delivery companies don't always deliver boxes upright, and they won't know unless it's stated on the outside of the box). I have placed all the plants on my kitchen window sill, but as to whether or not they perk up, is anyone's guess. Time will tell. In hindsight... I think I should've just taken the 2 buses to my nearest Dobbies Garden Centre? Not quite worthy of the 5 stars as yet, unless they do perk up and start catching flies.
