Excellent for the price, takes a bit of time but does the job. A bit tricky on first set up but if you first connect to the outlet this will push water through the pipework so you don't have any air traps. Keeping the attachment in the water, disconnect from outlet and connect to inlet and away you go. It is not like a domestic vacuum cleaner, use it very slowly and you should see dirt rise from the bottom and be sucked up.

Do not purchase this item it is easier to clean the pool by hand

This product is cheaply made but is does the job. I was dubious about this product, given the other reviews, as I too have the standard 330 gallon/hour small pump that came with my Bestway pool. However, once I worked out the best way of removing all the air from the long (too long for my 12' x 30" pool, but I guess it's also made for bigger pools) pipe the vac worked really well at removing larger particals such as grass, pieces of leaf and bugs on the bottom of the pool. In short, this vac does helps keep the pool clean even with the standard pump.Pro-tip: Get in the pool and run around the outside several times to create a gental vortex. Jump out and wait a few minutes and watch as all the debris collects in the center of the pool. Then simply vac it up!

Read the reviews of various pool hoovers and decided to get this one. We have a 15ft above ground pool with a cartidge filter. At first, I was confused as to how it works as the instructions are not very clear, however after a bit of trial and error I got this Hoover working perfectly, the trick is to completely immerse the hose into the pool and fill it so there are no air bubbles then take out one end and ensure you lower that end to the bottom of the outside of the pool creating a syphon, then attach to the inlet side of the pump, turn the pump on, bleed remaining air using air release valve and there you have it. I give this a 5 star rating even though the instructions were unclear this vacuum is extremely effective once setup correctly

was a little fiddly as the instructions are not very clear, but had a look at some you tube videos, and the best way I have found is put it all together, and with the pipe that is supposed to go in valve B first put it on valve A so it pushes all the air out, then keep it under water and attach to B. works better when going slowly. I do like it and would recommended, but its not as powerful as I was expecting, so need to move it slowly. but it took about 25mins to clean the bottom of my 12ft pool. does the job, only gave 3 starts as the instructions are not the best and its a little time consuming.

I was massively underwhelmed by this product. I got it for my 12 foot paddling pool which was starting to get a bit grubby at the bottom and after 2 hours of hoovering and messing about trying to get it to work it was still not much better.There are some serious floors:1. In order to get any real suction you need to have a more powerful pump than the one provided with most of the pool kits. I upgraded mine to 2000l/h but that was in no way powerful enough.2. All of the air needs to be taken out of the hose before starting or the pump fills with air and your suction goes. Doing this with a long hose that floats is challenging and required me to get into the pool to do it propperly.3. If you take any part of the hoover element out of the water, air gets in and you lose suction again requiring you to empty the air out of the hose.

This works well. It is a little fiddly to set up at first as you have to make sure you connect everything firmly and expel all the air from the tubes. The degree of suction depends on the power of your pump (and how clogged the filter is) so it is worth making sure the filter is clean (I actually took mine out altogether since the debris is collected in a net in the vacuum device and the filter is not essential) (remember to put it back afterwards). Having done that, the device was efficient and effective. I have only used the larger attachment so far, but that dealt with everything I needed in my 10m pool.

Initially worked really well! Good suction if set up correctly by removing all the air from tubing! Used 3/4 times and latch connector snapped off. Hoover adaptor heads will now not stay attached so unable to use, unfortunately I bought this early to be organised, rookie error really as I now can’t return it, will be contacting buyer and hoping for a goodwill resolution will update review if a good outcome is achieved….. good price but not robust enough!
